Just to point out, Joe Legal needs a new tax preparer, and someone needs to tell him he doesn't pay 30% of his wages in taxes. 1) 52,000 (yearly salary) - 11,400 (married filing jointly) - 14,600 (3,650 per exemption) leaves him with a taxable income of 26,000.

Assuming he has no further deductions (medical, property taxes, mortgage) this gives him a tax bill of 3,069 for the year. Subtract the child tax credit of 2,000 and that brings the total tax to 1,069, for a total of 2.056% of his income.

My question.... are all your other facts as skewed as this one????

That is exactly what I stated in my post above. I agree 100% and can easily prove how easy it is to "fake" a digital picture that nobody can tell the difference on.

Are you willfully blind to the fact I stated clearly in reply to the video that ignorance exists on both sides. Seeing as BOTH sides of an item equates to a whole (yay math?) then La Razza and the video would be included.

My theory as to why?

1. Cannabis is illegal, and Americans like it. Can only be obtained through illegal cartels.

2. Police are refusing to do their job and go after actual criminals.

As an Arizonan. I feel relieved.

I havent read all of the responses here, so I apologize if this is a repeat.

However, until there is some sort of comprehensive plan to reduce the amount of undocument, illegal immigrants that live and work in the US, there is only one real way to insure that they do their part to benefit society.

When the government starts spouting off about raising taxes, taxing the poor to pay the rich, take from this to pay that...etc, they are only hurting the legal citizens that pay into the system. If they would revamp the system to give tax breaks on income, they could then roll those over into taxes on products. They could then reduce the income tax burden on the middle class worker by a fictional number of 10%, but apply a 2% tax increase on goods and claim a greater tax influx without placing that burden squarely on the shoulders of the middle class working populace.

Since illegals have to purchase just like legals do, this spreads out the tax burden to a greater percentage of people in more than one tax bracket. The rich, the middle and the lower income individuals would all see a slight increase in product pricing, but would realize a significant increase in personal income to compensate.

In this, our corporatist/capitalist society, when people have more, they spend more, which means others have more and spend more.
