Red Shirt leader shot as unrest continues in Thai capital

A leader of anti-government protests in Thailand was shot in the head while being interviewed at the demonstrations, according to the journalist who was with him at the time.

Seh Daeng was in critical condition, according to his guards with the Red Shirt protesters.

Video footage taken just after the shooting showed Seh lying on the ground, dressed in camouflage, as frantic protesters attempted to move him and get help. Seh appears to be bleeding from a head wound...

These people are simply fighting for justice, law and democracy. They have an undemocratic government that has morphed into an authoritarian regime that refuses to abide by the wishes of their citizens. These people are not terrorists since they have caused very minimal damage and are not intentionally harming people.

This makes me believe that they will turn more violent and the wind will be beneath their wings now. Whether the government was the cause of his possible murder or not, they will become more powerful and the government needs to really worry now.

Hopefully this will make the goverment opposition stronger. The Red Shirts will not like their leader being shot in an assassination attempt. I hope he recovers and lives to fight another day!

These courageous men are but a few. Perhaps they should pack up and go home. No national movement can succeed if the masses do not come forward to support. It is not fair that these remaining heroes should sacrifice their precious lives any further.

Democracy can only be won by themselves as a collective entire mass. It cannot be won on behalf by others. Their sacrifice and efforts had been in vain. The greedy and corrupt had once again won in Thailand....
