because if nothing happens on midnight on the 10th then i will never believe a single thing the doom sayers say ever again.

I went on the record officially already that AB was and is a perpetrated hoax. That was a few days ago, when there was still some hype about it being true. So, I'm already home free, before AB is officially said to be a hoax after the dates pass by.

It's clear that Aussie was a hoax. I think we've all established that by now. What does get me is that it required a lot of knowledge on his part to be so convincing. So whoever Aussie is, obviously he/she is an intelligent person.

Does anybody know who Aussie really is?

I just HAD to point out that it's very funny to see you posting this type of thread. Asking the "doomsayers"(which I personally am not one) to prove themselves to you.

Do you remember the original AB thread started here on ATS? Do you? I read every page on there, and I saw you running around like a "chicken little" yourself. Not only that, but you then later made comments which probably added to the whole ordeal. How, you ask?

You posted that you were contacted by a "long time friend" who told you "Not to worry, the asteroids had been neutralized" or some other crazy poppycock. Yet where was your proof for that statement? What did you ever do to further that statement to all your fellow "chicken littles" that took part in this madness with you?

Funny that you ask them for proof, when you threw out that garbage and expected them to swallow it whole. Don't you think?

Please don't take this as a personal attack. I just wanted this bit of logic to be placed in this thread, when this board's "doomsayers" read your thread here and feel bad.


Just my observations, as it was strange to see you post such a thread, knowing you'd been part of this madness from the beginning.

P.S. I too posted in the original AB thread, stated for the record that it was fake, just thought I should mention that so you don't take my above comments as coming from an "offended doomsayer". Perish the thought.

Makes sense - and that means that on a 100,000 year cycle basis we should be in the clear for at least another 40,000 years or so before we even start moving on the down slope towards another ice age.

Although I never bought into the AB hoax, well maybe just a little. I can tell you that there are three near earth objects that will all be in the sky on 26 th June. Thats common knowledge. What their interaction will be I just can't tell. Possibly nothing. NOW Toutatis is another story.

Well, AB did a great job. I say better to Debunk EVERYTHING.... if you go with t, then you look like a fool if they do not happen. But, if you just debunk it and it happens, I htink the debunk will be the last thing on people minds....

Anyways.. why is there another thread on this.. I think this subject should have about died out by now.

Im one of those types of people that likes to keep an open mind, i believe we live in a wonderful universe filled with wonders beyond all our imaginations. Im just peeved at the hoaxers more than anything. What they did was dangerous and immoral.

What if it got into the mainstream? ITN/BBC news? ABC or CNN? Sky? Before the hoaxers were revelaed. Every weak willed loonie will be slashing wrists, gassing themselves in cars and tossing themselves off buildings!

That's why we come here because of all the wonders that are out there. I agree that this could have gotten out of control, some of the people on some of the sites were, and some still are very scared. They are already saying the dust storms in New Mexico are "The Dust Cloud" or it's from an asteroid impact.

Okay this may not belong here, but last night I had a vision of a really odd event that may or may not be related to these doomsdayers.

It was a small plane sliding down what appeared to be a muddy embankment. kind of split open, some people dead some not.

Then this thing, kind of like an alien but sort of more like a robot with a head shape that I have never seen in "real" images before, think of a capital letter T the head was flat slightly oval in appearance with one "eye" type formation taking up most of the inner space of the flat oval. It had a skinny neck like the base of a T and the surface was a shiny material, while the inner "eye" portion had two colors, a drak blue section and what appeared to be some sort of segmented black outer ring.

This "thing" had intelligence and could communicate, but had no visual appearance of movement went speaking. Behind it was a very dull background and I could only see its "head". My impression/ feeling was that this thing was somehow in control of events on this planet somehow.

Come to find out today a small plane crashes of the coast of Africa today. No details about why.

What proof does one need? If you die tomorrow or in 30 years, you should still prepare yourself - you will die one day. The only fear I have is the suffering of my children. I get these scary 'thoughts' at times of seeing my kids dieing while we are looking at each other in the eyes and I can see the immense pain in their eyes. That is my only fear. God knows my heart.
