Three Moscow metro bombing organisers 'killed'

news.bbc.co.uk

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said the "terrorists" who took part in the bombings had had to be killed because they resisted arrest.

"Those who put up resistance have to be eliminated - you cannot show pity," the Russian leader was reported as saying at a meeting with the head of the Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov.

The three suspects who have been killed include a man who had escorted the suicide bombers to Moscow and another who had accompanied one bomber

It is good that they have been found. It does make me wonder if it was really necessary that they be killed for resisting arrest. The nation is now saved the expense of a trial, as well as the public spectacle. I also wonder if any useful information could have been obtained through interrogation. I hope that ideal will not have to but put to the test in the future.

I think the russians classify "still breathing" as resisting.

In any case. If you are going to be a terrorist and kill people. You should be ready to suffer the consequences.

In America, terrorist try to kill president.
In Soviet Russia, president kill terrorist.

What a country!

Grey
thanks for posting. I was starting to think no one was going to.
Yes I agree with what you said. Its just being an ATS member I would have liked it to be said if it was an execution. Clearly the only people who know are the ones that were there. And again any information that might have been obtained could have been useful. But again thanks for the comment.

It probably would have been nice to get them alive for the intel they could have possibly provided but meh. They killed a lot of people now they paid for that crime with their own lives. Good riddance.

I would bet that there was some serious interrogation before they started "resisting". I will go even further and speculate that if an independent autopsy was done, we would find a lot of injuries that are not gun shot wounds.

Gotta love the russians. At least they are predictable.

But what secrets went to the grave with them?

And maybe conveniently so.

I agree with what you said, but I can't get away from any info the could have provided would have been worth keeping them alive long enough to get it.

Has anyone here looked into the apartment bombing in Moscow a few years back? There is a great film about it. I can't recall the name now but Netflix has it in the documentary section. Anyway there is reason to suspect that the Russian government was involved, overwhelming evidence actually, and presented it as a Chechen separatist act of terrorism. False Flag 101. Consider it a possibility at least that this case shares some in common with the apartment blast. Look into it friends. Deny ignorance!
