Senate Votes to Audit Fed Emergency Steps, Rejects Wider Probe

By Alison Vekshin and Craig Torres

May 11 (Bloomberg) -- The Senate approved an amendment to the regulatory-overhaul bill authorizing a one-time audit of the Federal Reserve’s emergency-lending programs, and defeated a second proposal that would have allowed continuous inquiries.

Lawmakers voted 96-0 today for Senator Bernard Sanders’s proposal to let a congressional watchdog conduct an audit of every Fed emergency action since December 2007. The Senate rejected a measure from Louisiana Rep

I find this to be some good news. The Illuminati like to play with legal systems, Labels, Monetary Systems, and religions. The Federal Reserve is of course is a private corporation (created by the Illuminati), and they are going to pay.

There is a huge Ledger to be paid off. They borrowed from a 3 Trillion dollar fund, in-case anyone hasn't noticed in the news. It is in their own rules of borrowing and lending to pay back what is borrowed.

And to pay back with interest, which they will not be able too.

Maybe this is the beginning of the end for the Federal Reserve?

Any comments?

I equate this to giving bread crumbs to the homeless and then touting how you saved them from starvation after someone questions your humanitarianism.

We've been screaming for an audit and they give us this junk. Talk about half-arsed. Now they get to say they did SOMETHING. So I suppose we have no choice but to settle?

Yeah, I am in concurrence with the skeptics on how much of an impact this will have. It is almost as if they passed the bill just to throw RP and followers of his ideals a bone.

Why reject request for further inquiries?

I agree with some of the others.
This is nowhere near the oversight needed
to really audit the Fed.

They are only letting you look at
one tree

when there's an entire invisible forest
behind that tree.

Stop playing games u corrupt bankers.
ur system is being scrutinized and it is
illegal. Time to pay the piper.

We don't want 1 bone
we want the whole cow.

Ron Paul on Facebook:

I am outraged. The Senate just voted down the Vitter Amendment and against a real audit of the Federal Reserve. My entire team and I are going to work very hard to make sure the American people know who voted right, and who voted with the banking special interests.

He's definitely not satisfied with the bone...
