It has come to the forefront recently here on ATS, the subject of Rome’s influence, not only on the ancient world, but on the present. It has been widely discussed by some brilliant minds here on ATS in various threads the very REAL influence that the Roman republic, Empire, and the Holy Roman Empire has had on the present in the form of Roman Civil Code, religion, commercial contract law. These various facets have been discussed extensively, however, there is one thing that I think has not been discussed to my satisfaction, and that is the occult movement throughout the ages by the Roman Empire that seems to be culminating in this very age of Aquarius with some powerful event. An event that seems to have been planned by the powers that be that have controlled this world for hundreds of years.

As above so below… This Hermetic doctrine is found throughout the ancient world represented in paintings, philosophy, and in the monuments that have been resurrected in honor of the gods and the stars of the cosmos, such as the Great Pyramids. But this philosophy can also be seen in the construction of more recent monuments, which are not supposed to have such a pagan and superstitious connotation.

As above so below… According to Egyptian myth, the twice-born Egyptian god Osiris was born first in the heavens as one of the children of Ra, the Sun god, and then resurrected, after he was killed by his brother Set, by his beloved wife Isis, through sexual magic, in the form of his son on earth Horus. This has been seen by some as a take on the Holy Trinity: the father (Osiris), the son (Horus), and the Holy Spirit (Isis or it could be Ra, whose magic was used and Isis seen as the Holy Mother Mary). Some see it as a Demonic Trinity, as you will see.

Isis and Osiris were among the four children born from the womb of the sky-goddess, Nut and fathered by Ra, the sungod. The other two children were Seth and Nephtys. Osiris took Isis as his wife, and they became the first rulers of Egypt. At the age of 28 Osiris was brutally killed by his jealous brother Seth and his body cut into fourteen pieces. Isis recovered all of the pieces of Osiris' body except the phallus, which she could not find. Isis fashioned an artificial phallus for Osiris, placed herself on it in the form of a kite, and became pregnant with his seed. She then went into hiding in the marshes of the Nile, and gave birth to Horus. From the Pyramid Texts and various other religious writings, it is clear that this myth has its counterpart in the stars, with Isis identified to Sirius and Osiris to the constellation of Orion.

The same mythology can be found in Roman Catholicism, which worships the divine Mother (Isis) and Her son, the God-man Jesus (Horus), and God the father (Osiris.)

There is no real way to know the true origins of this myth, but it is clear that it was adopted by various cultures, such as the Romans and the Greeks, in various names and forms, but it does appear to be the same mythology under different names. Whether it originated in Atlantis, Troy, Greece, Egypt, no one can really know, but one thing is for certain… Rome conquered the world long ago, bringing all of this together under one faction, if you will, and it is a Roman (Vatican) faction that seems to be perpetuating this myth in secret today.

Though the details are a closely guarded secret, the monuments and symbols that they have placed all around us are very much in plain site.

And then you have the earthly seat of Roman (Vatican) power in the Capitol of Sir Francis Bacon’s New Atlantis: Washington D.C., the little Vatican on the Potomac. The similarities are quite striking. Located on the 77th meridian, just like Bacon had foretold, the Rosicrucian and freemasonic influence of the founding of America can be easily seen by looking at the layout and architecture of the District of Columbia.

Just the mere fact that Washington D.C. exists at all is rather peculiar. After all, why would the founders go out of their way to place the capitol of the newly formed United States on top of useless swamp land? Why not Philadelphia, Charleston, New York, or Richmond, which were all well established cities, instrumental in the founding of the country? The answer lies in the fact that Washington D.C. sits on the 77th meridian. But there are much more peculiar things about this city than just its location.

Both the Vatican and Washington D.C. seem to be star maps on the ground, depicting what is going on above our heads, as well as Greco Roman style temples to the Egyptian gods: Osiris, Isis, and Horus.

I highly recommend reading this book. Thomas Horn does an excellent job of tying all of this together, like nothing that I have read on the subject before.

Thomas Horn claims in this book that 2012 is contained in the cypher of The Great Seal on the one dollar bill, with Horus positioned at the capstone of the pyramid (the eye of Horus).

Contained within the womb of Isis (Capitol Dome) is a painted mural called “The Apotheosis of Washington”, what is a depiction of the ascension or descension of President (Pharaoh) Washington into the pagan underworld with 72 angels/demons, bound by 72 pentagrams, that is a clear reference to the Egyptian myth of the 72 accomplices of Set, who bound Osiris in the magic box. Apollo is mentioned in the Roman Bible in connection with the antichrist:

“Second Thessalonians 2:3 warns: "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition [Apoleia; Apollyon, Apollo]." Revelation 17:8 also directly ties the coming of Antichrist with Apollo, revealing that the Beast shall ascend from the bottomless pit and enter him:

Some of this information, concerning the lost symbol and Masonic/Vatican influence in Washington D.C., is discussed by Dan Brown in his newest book The Lost Symbol. He claims that the Bible bound within the Obelisk that is the Washington monument is the lost symbol.

In summation, according to the Great Seal of the United States, the mystics, freemasons, Illuminists, etc… seem to be preparing for the return of Apollo (Horus), Osiris on earth, what Christians herald as the antichrist.

Thus Apollo is seen in connection with Horus, who is then seen as the resurrection of Osiris. Just like the Christian Trinity, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we have the demonic trinity of Osiris (Father), Horus (son), and the Holy Spirit (Isis, mother, mary).

Whether this is true or not doesn't really matter. What matters is that the current progenitors of this myth see as so, as can be seen by their symbology in Washington D.C. and the Vatican, and the cipher of the Great Seal on the dollar bill "Novus Ordo Seclorum." Which is taken from a Sibylline prophecy of the return of Apollo/Saturn, Osiris incarnate. This is the connection they seem to be making.

This can be seen in the symbology of the Dome and the Obelisk, and the Raising Ceremony of the 33rd degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

Could the powers that be be planning for the coming return of Osiris/Horus/Apollo in the earthly form, what is mentioned in the Bible as the antichrist (Apollyon) to wreak havoc on the earth?

I'm so glad to see this get it's own thread! This is probably the "ultimate" of all conspiracies! Thank you for putting this together.

Very true Dave... It's been planned for hundreds of years, and what is amazing is the fact that has been kept going right up until the present day. Infact, our very calendar has it marked for 2012.

Well put together except for the parts where you bring Christian dogma into it. It's not really about Christianity. It has nothing to do with the "antichrist" and the Egyptian "trinity" is not a demonic trinity. It is the original trinity from which Christianity borrowed it's own symbolism. So to look at it through the latter perception is to see a somewhat distorted image.

All in all though, you get a lot of it right and I enjoyed the read.

Also, Hermeticism is alive and well. I think one of the most astute points you make is that regarding FDR and a shift to a Saturnian age. I'm quite ready for that to be ended. Saturn is necessary at times, but can be a cruel master (in a metaphoric sense). I believe that we are near several shifts which are not really tied to the 2012 marker. 2012 is for pop culture conspiracies. There are more serious transitions afoot which will probably come a slight bit later, but are currently developing.

That was a great presentation of the dome too. Not many people see those things. They are everywhere though, and in some cases quite deeper than you probably even realize.

e.g. the Apple Corporation. Give it some thought. Television shows like Caprica. Check some of the internet graphics.

But there's always an element of uncertainty in any large, complex system. The unexpected will occur. The fundamental laws of nature insure that.

I am not even Catholic anymore but it bugs me when I hear people say that Catholics "worship" Mary the Mother of the Christ. That is absolute hogwash. Catholics do pray to Mary who promised that any prayer offered to her would go to Jesus first and foremost and that Jesus could not deny any request from his Mother. Catholics worship God, not the Saints and not the Virgin Mother.

if you guys are really serious about this you need to read the book 'the great controversy' by Ellen G. White.

basically in this book the author talks about how Rome never changed its true nature even through its conversion to christianity....and that in the 'last days' Rome will exert a telling influence on the final events of earths history....


oh, i should also point out that the book was written in the late 1800s by someone will a 3rd grade education. Yes, there are those who say ellen white plagiarized and what not...but plagiarism wasnt the issue then that it is today......i say read it and make your own judgement......at the very least its not a boring or dull book.....

I tried to remain objective about the religious aspects of this conspiracy, and what I presented is admittedly from "their" perspective, which would be from the perspective of the Masonic purveyors of this myth.

They believe in Satan/Lucifer and they are the ones that see it as demonic in its essance.

I do realize that not all Catholics worship the Mother Mary, however, there are sects associated with the Church that certainly do, including a black Madonna sect in southern France.

Though you may not see it as Madonna worship, other denomenations do not place the major significance in the Mother Mary that Catholic symbolism and dogma seem to. And you do have to admit that the Saints are very riminiscent of the Pagan gods and goddesses.

Well, according to old world secrets, Zeus IS god of the Bible and I think that is along those lines, because the simple reason for this, is that religion is how 'they' spellbound the Earthlings between the Ages and Worlds...

Not sure , I think they all are the Dude called Enlil.

The thought of a revived Holy Office of the Inquisition would pacify some and offend others. Nevertheless, the "Holy Office" still exists. Only it's name has been changed. Pope John Paul II has been instrumental in its revival. One may argue that this Ratzinger run agency is merely an attempt by the Catholic Church to root out communism or backslidden priests and their practices. However, with John Paul II's objective to implement "God's mandate" by creating a global church-state which will administer from traditional Roman Catholic theology, is enough cause for alarm. Malachi Martin has already stated in his book, "The Keys of this Blood," that the pope will not tolerate any belief systems that oppose his, not on a civil or church level. In John Paul II the world will behold a tyrant who will coldly execute direct orders against those whom he deems are heretics or immoral. FUNDAMENTALISTS WRONG ABOUT BIBLE, VATICAN SAYS

The wound is almost healed, the inquisition is now REVIVED, and it is here to "pacify" those that speak out against all that the Roman Church teaches. And yes, it does "offend" many. Do you suppose the killings will begin again? Do you suppose the Roman Church would think it is "good behaviour" to kill Christians? Do you suppose you will be commiting a HATE CRIME when you speak as the Bible declares you must speak in regards to this accurtately exposed prophetic Beast? And do you see the tag "RACIST", "HATEMONGER", HERETIC", or "CATHOLIC BASHER" stamped upon your chest as the "legal" reason you stand before the one world court system in Rome?

Pope Endorses “World Political Authority”

The controversial Papal statement comes just before a meeting of the G-8 nations and a scheduled meeting between the Pope and President Obama at the Vatican on July 10.

Some in the media are calling it just a statement about "economic justice." But Pope Benedict XVI's "Charity in Truth" statement, also known as an encyclical, is a radical document that puts the Roman Catholic Church firmly on the side of an emerging world government.

In explicit and direct language, the Pope calls for a "true world political authority" to manage the affairs of the world. At the same time, however, the Pope also warns that such an international order could "produce a dangerous universal power of a tyrannical nature" and must be guarded against somehow.

The New York Times got it right this time, noting the Pope's call for a world political authority amounted to endorsement of a New World Economic Order, a long-time goal of the old Soviet-sponsored international communist movement.
