Gordon Brown Resigns As Prime Minister

Well there he goes, thank god. This man has been a truly awful prime minister and an awful chancellor. He cannot be blamed for the entire economy but he could have put us in a slightly better position. What comes next may be very interesting for British politics and maybe we will see some kind of improvement.

A conservative prime ministe may worry some people, but with the government being a conservative majority, with liberals in key positions we may see a more fair kind of politics where the peoples views are better represented. We have yet to see what the policies will be but some key ones come to mind.

The abolition of the ID card system
Electoral reform
Proportional representation
Definite limits on parliament terms

Both parties are against ID cards so hopefully that utter waste of money will go. If it doesn't then somethign very strange is going on. Proportional representation is a tricky one, we may or may not see it.

All in all i think the next year will be interesting.
