Obama's latest pick for the Supreems is sure to stir up some controversy. The fact that she's a die hard abortion advocate should come as a shock to no one. This next part though may just be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I wonder if even hard-core leftists would even be able to overlook this little black mark on her resume.

Obama’s Supreme Pick Kagan Is A Bankster Operative

Democrats are going gaa-gaa over Obama’s Supreme pick Elena Kagan. “Democrats praised Kagan as ‘razor sharp’ and impeccably qualified for the lifetime appointment on the nine-member bench, but Republicans promised to vigorously vet a ’surprising’ choice, noting she had never been a judge,” reports Agence France-Presse. “I have selected a nominee who I believe embodies… excellence, independence, integrity and passion for the law, and who can ultimately provide that same kind of leadership on the court,” Obama said at the White House.

Is Kagan independent? Hardly. She is a bankster operative.

Kagan sat on a Goldman Sachs advisory council between 2005 and 2008. It was her job to offer “analysis and advice to Goldman Sachs and its clients.”

Obama mouthpiece Robert Gibbs and the Justice Department are now engaged in frenetic damage control over Kagan’s Goldman connection. Kagan’s role working for the “great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity” (as Matt Taibbi described Goldman) should not be dismissed lightly.

It just goes to show who's really running this country anymore.

On top of that, she is in favor of government controls on "free speech".

Kagan: ‘Disappear’ Free Speech If The Government Deems It Offensive

President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan is perfect in every way – perfect that is if you think the role of the highest judicial body in the United States is to ban free speech, indefinitely detain Americans without trial, resurrect command and control socialism, while urinating on everything the Constitution stands for.

But it gets worse. Now we learn that Kagan thinks certain expressions of free speech should be ‘disappeared’ if the government deems them to be offensive. On the surface that’s any opinion on racial, sexuality or gender issues, but since criticizing Obama is now deemed racist, where will it all end?

In a 1993 University of Chicago Law review article, Kagan wrote, “I take it as a given that we live in a society marred by racial and gender inequality, that certain forms of speech perpetuate and promote this inequality, and that the uncoerced disappearance of such speech would be cause for great elation.” (emphasis mine).

“In a 1996 paper, “Private Speech, Public Purpose: The Role of Governmental Motive in First Amendment Doctrine,” Kagan argued it may be proper to suppress speech because it is offensive to society or to the government,” reports World Net Daily.

Kagan also argued as recently as September that corporations shouldn’t be allowed to engage in free speech, and that the government can censor things like newspaper editorials, as well as the political opinions of radio talk show hosts or television reporters.

Chief Justice John Roberts blasted Kagan’s argument at the time, reports Newsmax.

She's even a big socialim advocate:

Obama's Supreme pick has love affair with socialism
You won't believe how Kagan felt about radicals in America

NEW YORK – In her undergraduate thesis at Princeton, President Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court, Elena Kagan, lamented the decline of socialism in the country as "sad" for those who still hope to "change America."

Titled "To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933," Kagan opined that infighting caused the decline of the early socialist movement. She asked why the "greatness" of socialism was not reemerging as a major political force.

It looks like Oboma really wants to stick it to America with this one.

speaking as a "real american" since I vote republican. We cant allow this woman to become a supreme court justice. Besides being a woman she is also against ABORTION!!! wasnt it abd enough we almost ended up with a woman for president? now their trying to take over the supreme court? I for one am sick of these socialists destroying our country and spitting on the american way of life. This is a christian country and if people dont like it they can go to australia so they can learn what its like not to be free. Our founding fathers were all christian and fought and died to set up this country away from the queen and her rule. Now its coming back to haunt us, if we dont stop it soon we wont have the freedom to bring new life into this world. Women will think they can make their own decisions about who lives and who dies. This is a fair and just country not one where we walk over the rights of our citizens, and the unborn are citizens. Lets hope we can destroy this womans life like the millions of dead that lie in her wake. We cant allow these murderers to occupy the supreme court!

I just started the above two threads concerning this topic.

This administration alone is trying to take us back to the days of corruption when FDR was in office.

I originally started this thread on the bankster story. Then, I found the free speech and socialism articles and added them to the OP. After that, I stopped digging, it was getting to scary.

The more you dig into this ladie's background, the scarier she seems. The fact that she would be the youngest member of the Supreems means that she'll be screwing us over for decades to come if she gets confirmed.

I found a few stories about liberal opposition, mostly dealing with her lack of a papertrail but nothing very substantial.

White House tries, sort of, to calm liberal doubts about Kagan

WASHINGTON -- The White House is trying -- sort of -- to push back on critics like Salon's Glenn Greenwald, who argue that there's nothing in Solicitor General Elena Kagan's record that proves she won't move the Supreme Court to the right once she gets there.

"Elena is clearly a legal progressive," Vice President Biden's chief of staff, Ron Klain, told reporters in a briefing on the nomination Monday morning, after I asked him to characterize her judicial philosophy. "She is someone whose scholarship has won praise from both those on the progressive side and those on the conservative side for its thoroughness and its practicality."
