There's the common notion that black holes suck in everything in the nearby vicinity by exerting a strong gravitational influence on the matter, energy, and space surrounding them. But astronomers have found that the dark matter around black holes might be a different story. Somehow dark matter resists 'assimilation' into a black hole.


Did not see this on the search engine, so hopefully this hasn’t been already posted. Anyway great article to see how dark matter is not effect by dark holes. Changing the way scientists look at dark matter.

So I read the article.

I guess this keeps everything in balance otherwise the black holes would
just grow so fast the galaxy would be "altered" in their words.

They must mean destroyed lol.

Pretty cool find.

That is highly interesting.

This really shows us how little we know about Dark Matter.
