mercury links to hung parlament

sorry for sounding like a crazy astrologist....
ok it sounds odd but everytime there has been a hung parlament in uk, the planet mercury has been in a retrograde movement.
which means (i think) that the orbit is in the opposite direction to us.
just heard that now on bbc radio 2 and thought i would share it.

That is interesting, but I wonder if it relates to an affliction in the natal chart of the UK.

This makes no sense. Mercury goes retrograde three or four times each year.

Mercury is also retrograde every time there has not been a hung parliament.


BTW, Mercury does not reverse its orbit.
