Actually: you tried to define "Americans" by mentioning Natural Law. I asked you to define Natural Law (philosophical construct) and you got very defensive.

What does Natural Law even mean? Does is it have the same meaning to Native Americans than to you? If not, than there is nothing "natural" about it. Do you refer to the survival of the fittest?

Remember I asked this before and I'm still waiting to hear your reply ...

I'm thinking they are aware of such things - but in case not - or if they don't know specifics -

I do know of some specifics I could point to - I don't want to do it here because I'm not sure if I should link to certain things, and - if I did anyway - they'd likely disappear pretty quick.

Actually, I have to disagree, fordrew. The best thing Mexico has done for the world is Mexican food.
But it's tragic, really. There is no excuse for Mexico's bad situation but greed (we are finding out what that is like now). Nowhere in the world will you find more gifted artisans- in handwork, in metals, woodworking or clay. The heritage of the Maya (& most Mexicans are to some extent descended from them) in architecture & engineering surpasses every other culture except for Petra (in modern day Jordan, I think) Like Africa, they could- and should, be one of the most prosperous countries in the world. The oppressiveness of greed has demoralized these people & they have lost their self respect. They try to replace that lost self esteem, falsely, by asserting themselves aggressively into a situation where they are doomed to rejection & failure, generally. A small percentage will actually "break in" & "make it" by overcoming their demoralization, but they are at a major disadvantage from the start.

Globalism, which is just socialism or communism re-named, is an insidious lie. The globalists are the greediest, most oppressive and exploitive philosophy that has ever existed second to the Roman Empire. Where they fall short of the Romans is that the Romans introduced infrastructure and SOME improvement in the living standards of the places they conquered. The globalists will only improve and maintain opulent conditions for themselves (as the elites) while the populace is kept at an impoverished subsistence- like the austere dreariness of the Soviet Union.
It is their agenda to see all of the proletariat homogenized while they remain "pure" and superior. They may sleep with the lessers, but they associate, marry & reproduce within their caste. Ever hear the phrase "king among dogs"? The more mongrelized the people become, the more the elites' superiority is reinforced. The proles become more demoralized, therefore the elites more powerful & superior, and it is a vicious cycle.
The only way to stop this is to stridently maintain our nationalism. We SHOULD encourage cultural diversity *in it's place*, SHARING it, but everyone who goes to live in a given country should defer to the laws, customs & traditions of that HOST country. We should not allow other nationalities to transform us into something that bears no resemblance into what we had always been before. You LOSE diversity when one culture takes over another. Of COURSE it is a good thing to be multi lingual, but each country should maintain their language as THE national language. Those people coming in must learn enough of it; adapt, so they can at least be able to function satisfactorily.
Our situation can truly be summed up as "reconquista" or being conquered again. The lack of respect one culture receives from another, inserting culture will either destroy the self respect of the host (as in Persia's case) or lead to civil war. It fosters resentment & inevitably, conflict.
It is not the "high minded", warm fuzziness of CO-existence. That is the insidious lie.

I personaly on the matter off immigration, illegal or otherwise cannot blame anyone for seeking work. Its quite simple, if someone is having to illegaly travel to another country for a better life then something VERY BAD is up with the life they have in there country, and peoples selfish uncaring attitude is, yip well # them, thats there country, there problem, lol what.

The people themselves cannot be blamed, they cannot be blamed for undercuting anyone, free market economics, go # yourself. If an individual has found any way to make a living for himself or his family then hats off to that man, if a system exists to allow him to acheive that, how can anyone demand he has no freedom to try it?

What people really want to protest against if anything is the employers, busines' and corporations who hire these people at the exspense of nationals and the governments themselves. To start harbouring xenophobic attitudes towards an entire group of peoples is quite simply beyond retarded.

Keeping the United States from progressing? You speak of progress and peace. We are becoming a country who picks and chooses when the laws should be followed and by whom. We are catering to illegals and giving them free health care and everything else, giving them jobs that belong to citizens, allowing murderers, gangs, kidnappings, pedophiles and thieves to be here because they have no background check and come here illegally. Neighborhoods are changed with graffiti and trash etc. We have places that now require you to speak another friggin language to get a job. You call this progress?

Tell all the children who have been raped about progress and peace Tell all the people with murdered family members about progressand peace. So many of our poor people who make like 3.00 over the poverty line cannot get help with their medical and will now be in debt the rest of their lives, even though they spent their entire lives working their butts off. All the while they watch as many illegals get free healthcare and food stamps etc. I know illegals who lied and never mentioned that they lived with boyfriends who made good money. These women also had jobs. In no way did she and her children need welfare yet they got it. This makes me sick.

I respect your honesty in your OP. I too have dealt with this dilemma over the years. I wrote about it in one of my firsts posts here , which had an overwhelming response. I also seem to respond more to posts about this subject than any other, even though my interests are far and wide, I have a deep emotional need to talk about this.

I won't say I'm a 'racist'....at least not yet, because I still try to keep true to the fact that stroking any group of people with a broad brush is never cool. I still try to be "fair" and tell myself that "it's the individual" that matters.

It's getting harder and harder. I have Mexican friends, acquaintances, etc...so I still hold on. But I get what you're saying about feeling 'disgust'. It's become automatic now. I try to block it out. I try to tell look at the positive side of the Illegal Immigrant influx into Los Angeles (where I live). I try to laugh it away or go on about my business.

But it's getting harder. Racist thoughts worry me...but it's like I feel I've been FORCED to feel this way by the circumstances. There is a lot to be said about the negative sides of Multiculturalism...it's real....and I feel it BREEDS racism.

I feel that with respect to "Hispanics" in America, Illegal Immigration has caused more racism toward them than anything else. Is it unfair? Probably, but sometimes things just are, and human sociology has no logical outcome. Sometimes a deeper instinct kicks in. An instinct that I can't label as "wrong" or "inappropriate" yet.....yet.

Good luck to you. You seem conscious that something has changed, and maybe you feel a LOSS for it. Noticing you have developed a hatred for a group of people is a loss. I think there is a type of mourning someone goes through because they realize there is a disconnect from another human.

But I think TPTB know this. They play on it, and they are better at the game than we are at FIGHTING the game. What a world.

I think it would behoove people to understand the WHY of the OP's post, rather than attack the "WHAT" of it. He obviously has an issue that many share. It's a chance to understand the driving force behind racist thoughts. Telling him he's "stupid" or "blah blah blah" as a response, doesn't help anyone.

He is concerned enough to write about it publicly. If you discount him, you discount MILLIONS of others in his same situation. There are reasons that one group/race/ethnicity can hate or feel disgust by another. Maybe if it is spoken about and put on the table, people can be aware and maybe learn something.
