Wishing poverty and plauge upon my house are you now?

Who will pay to support your ponzi scheme then, I wonder?

It`s no different then you wishing them to give up their rights, now is it? Don`t like paying into the system? We did, for years. Oh yea, there may come a day that you, or someone close to you may need the system. So don`t wish ill will on these other people.

Actually, welfare and disability are completely un-Constitutional. Those sorts of programs led to the slippery slope that's turned the US into socialist nation. To forcefully take my money and give it to whomever the government deems worthy is theft, plain and simple. Perhaps if this money weren't sucked out of my pocket against my will, I'd donate it to those in need. But that should be MY decision to make.

Poverty has existed since the beginning of civilization. No social program is ever going to end it. It's the sad truth that some will succeed while others suffer. I feel for those whose lives have taken a bad turn, but how exactly is that my problem? If/When my life goes to hell (and I've already had to tighten my belt on several occasions), I'm not going to expect others to take care of me, especially the government. I'll fend for my self or die trying.

Perhaps if instead of being forced to pay into these welfare systems, we the people could keep all of our own hard earned money, when tough times came, we'd have saved some cash for those rainy days (and least those of us with brains would).

Plus the corruption within the welfare system is disgusting. Many people who don't need it get it and vice versa. I've seen that first hand.

I am not picking on the weak and I am not wishing ill upon the ill.

I'm saying that enough is enough.

Free powered scooter chairs for those who are frail, front row parking in every parking lot for those who have a handicap sticker and a limp, Semi-free doctor visits, Mandatory vacines, Get a check goto the casino, Buy another pack of smokes, Buy another lottery ticket, etc.

Buy, Sell, Re-noegotiate your terms, Get free credit, Lose Free credit, Pay more interest, Pay into the system, collect a partial payment from the system, Lies, lies, lies, promises, promises, promises everywhere, you fall for it over and over and over and over again, etc (It's just a vicious cycle)

You're all morons

They haven't improved your quality of life. They are creating and manipulating the population to make money off everything. They are just feeding crap to the stupid and we're all dieing a slow death from decreased intelligence.

Enough

So, in other words, these people who paid into the system all their working lives are to just stop getting back what they paid to help others? Wow, that`s really nice. Yes, it may not be constitutional, but to just stop paying these people what they HAVE paid into it is just as crooked as the system itself. Why rip them off?

They feel entitiled to a check without any thought of where it's comming from.

If the government wants to send people free money I really don't see why they must take it from others. They just print it up out of thin air anyways.

I feel it is unwise to eradicate the weak, for one day you may find yourself in thier footsteps.

However, if one must accept a helping hand one must be willing to give something up, like thier constitutional rights. This should be enough of a deterent to keep only those who are trully frail and those who are completely stupid from accepting free stuff.

Why is it that we must encourage the prolonging of a life that is no longer worth living?

I see dead people everywhere.

Not even sure why me or anyone else is answering to your bull#. You are probably sitting at home withe a beer in hand after casing in your welfare check..
I don't think the Gov has welfare right. I disagree with all the single mums who suddenly can't remember who the fathers of the children are, or people like my friend, who have a permanent back injury but still play snooker 3 times a week.
But for past tax payers who have contributed to the system (bs as it is) and find themselves on hard times, I'm happy to pay taxes to support.

So in colosing, you are a F&^% Wit and I hope you die of cancer

So I guess we should have offed Stephen Hawking years ago...Just because someone has a disability does not mean they do not contribute to the betterment of human evolution.

Over and over again I have been astounded by how ignorant people are about welfare. One major problem I see is the lack of tight nit families and community. This has significantly contributed to the problem. Back in the day, families and communities helped each other out. If you were in need at least one of your neighbors or relatives could offer you what you needed and in return you might be able to help them out. Large families meant their was always someone to help a single mother out to watch the kids while she went to work. Many people under one roof helped to cut costs. I feel the government is purposely destroying the large family for just this reason. Divide and conquor.

meanwhile....
wonder how much the next bonuses will be for those other people, the one's running that other ponzi scheme...ya know, the fantasy finance scheme that tore down the economy to begin with??
frankly, I am sick of the whole picture..
I go to work for a pathetic wage everyday, limp into work, after walking across a rather big parking lot, ain't no handicapped tag in my car. It literally hurts for me to do my job, and at the end of the day, I am crapping blood!!
I don't want to take some little old lady's social security check away!! Nor do I want to take support away from someone who's had his life ruined through an accident he had while he was working. close to 50% of the new moms in this country are not married....I wish they would take some responsibility, use their brains!!! one of the biggest political names in NY just got a 2 year sentence for all the favors he did for his buddies, wasting taxpapyer money all the while.....I wish they'd go after more of these self serving leaders that have discarded the interest of those that they are supposed to serve and decided to just serve themselves and their buddies!! I wish they'd prosecute the crooks on wall street that are working all so hard to think of more ponzi schemes that they can use to defraud people of billions of dollars while crashing our economy, and then just go running to our elected officials to demanding a bailout while threatening to crash the whole system if they don't get it!!! I wish our elected officials would just stand up to them, and well, let them crash the system!! I want to see them actually have to roll up the sleeves on their white shirts and actually do some "HARD WORK!!"

as far as how many are getting the gov't handouts?? got a feeling it's alot more than you all think, and I also got a feeling that you run into people everyday who are recieving some form of help!! the person who is driving that school bus, the one who is cashing our your groceries, harvesting and processing your food....assembling your computer....

na, none of these people deserve rights!! they don't deserve your hard earned cash....heck, they can live in a cardboard box, eat out of the garbage can outside of the chinese resturant, just, hey, keep them working please!!! or we are all gonna starve!! because these are the people doing the hard work that is keeping america hobbling along!!!

they say that you get out of life what you put in it....I must be doing something wrong!! I am literally giving my blood, but not really making enough to support myself if I had to!! My money is going to stupid girls who decide to have babies with no husband or means of supporting those kids, so they can take their kid to the doctor for their runny noses....just to ease their fears! But, if I go to have that bleeding hernia fixed, I am just plopping another gambling chip onto the great fantasy finance table more than likely, and then, I and my children will end up paying 20 times as much through inflation and taxes when the chips are found to be mostly counterfiet garbage!!!

I don't know what the op's problem is....
I have no problem with the gov't taking money from me to help some guy who's had his leg's crushed through an accident at work!! I wish the gov't would find a more efficient way of doing it while eliminating some of the fraud that is going on now!!!

got to ask the op a question here....
I am literallly putting my blood into the system, ain't getting much of anything out of it....
what are you giving exactly???

I agree with you about the moms. I had a friend tell me last year, he went in to see about getting some aid from family services beings he was without a job. Now mind you, he has a family of four to feed. He had filled out all the paper work, and was waiting to talk to them to see if he would get some help. He had been turned down twice at this point.

While setting there waiting, a young girl walks in, baby in arms. The girl he said didn`t look to be over 15-16 years old. She walks up to the window and tells them she has no job and no husband. He said it looked like they were tripping over each other trying to get the window so they could hand her a card for food and cash. He was pissed. He said that when he did get to talk to someone there, they turned him down again. He told them, that if he was a young girl with a kid, they would have broken their necks to help him. And guess what, the person he talked to told he he was right. Why? Because that is how it`s set up. In other words, it didn`t matter if you paid into it, he was a big boy and would find a way through it, and she had a baby that needed help. Nice system, huh?
