Thanks for posting this, I hadn't heard about this dog.

Fantastico. We need more Dags at demos imho. My little ratter would get involved if he had,nt passed over last summer.
Cinammon is beautiful. He seems to understand why he is there. I can see it in his eyes. I must me a new Dag.

Your absolutelly right, its not the same dog

The strangest thing about the whole story is, that the original Kanellos, who was born in the Athens Uni and was the original protest dog, passed away on the 2nd july of 2008, but the students say, that immediatelly after his death, another dog took his place in riots (the one with the blue collar) so all the pictures and vids who show protests and riots with a dog present were made AFTER he passed away and show another cinnamon colored dog.

Must run in the "family". ^^

He was truly a leader amongst protest dogs, and others (dogs) seem to have adopted his doings

I really wondered, why Kanellos' story stirred me that much, almost had a "religious" feeling to it (and im not really religious).

What that dog thinks is going on, I have no idea. But he sure does look like he's having FUN in all those pictures!

Except maybe the one where he's getting pepper sprayed.

What a awesome dog and what a heart warming set of pictures and stories. Animals constantly amaze me.

I actually feel sorta warm and fuzzy inside.

Kanellos will be needed in many countries soon I'm afraid.

You can't help but fall in love with this dog though.

He's always on the side of the people and it's just cool as hell.

I hope that the Greek university students are taking good care of him. I'll bet they are.
