I couldn't resist this story of the friendship between a leopard and a golden retriever:

There are two more pictures in the article.

Animal wrangler Richard Brooker, 23, raised Salati and takes her and family dog Tommy for their daily exercise together.
Each morning, he walks them on his family's 1,850-acre estate and then lets them run free to their hearts' content.
He said: 'Wherever you see one the other is right behind. They are inseparable and both have lots of energy so they get the exercise they both need together.

I wonder if this can give me hope for my dog and my neighbour's cat? Umm....no

That just goes to show that cats and dogs can get along.
I seem to have the same problem as you Berenike, if my dogs even get a wiff of a cat, they trot round the garden with noses in the air!!

If that was the only place dogs ever put their noses, we wouldn't have too much to complain about

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh - I adore stories like this.

It just goes to show that animals are brilliant and humans are stupid.

Why can't we get along with our foresworn enemies?
