Here we go again! AP and CNBC have just reported that another Emirates Air jet has been called in from the taxiway at New York's La Guardia airport because a "No Fly" listed passenger was on-board.

How will Napolitano and Obama explain THIS one, after they denied losing the Times Square bomber, but were refuted by the Chief of NYPD?

Is the Obama administration going to provide "Homeland Security" or the "Keystone Kopps?"

And, a report just came across in almost the same breath of someone on a bus with a bomb in Connecticut. I wonder if the person on theplane was just put on the list in connection with the Connecticut incident.

Connecticut is also where the SUV Times Square bomber was from.

Edit for update: Man claims bomb on Greyhound bus destined for NY City. The bus left Bangor Maine, and is Portsmouth New Hampshire.

Ok if some man "claims" to have a bomb on a bus, then he is no real terrorist. If he intended to blow up the bus, it would be done.

Is this another "smoke bomb" incident? An international conspiracy to mildly inconvenience travellers?

What a JOKE!! MSM please please shut up already! Next time something actually blows up, then report that. Stop the fearmongering!

NY News says this at 1:00:

Emirates Flight Stopped on Runway at JFK

An Emirates Airline flight was called back to the gate at JFK airport because of a security concern that turned out to be a case of mistaken identity, senior government officials confirm.

Sources told NBC that Emirates flight 204 was ready to take off for Dubai when it was told to return to the gate. Officials later said they stopped the flight over concerns a passenger on board may have been on the federal no-fly list, but an investigation revealed there was no match.

Another official said the incident involved two people -- a man and a woman. One of those people appeared to be on a Customs and Border Protection List, not a Transportation Security Administration no-fly list.

Customs officials contacted the radio tower and said to stop the plane because they wanted to speak with the two individuals. They did speak with the people, one official said, and authorities now appear ready to clear the flight.

This is getting to be "Keystone Kopps" instead of Homeland Security!

What's next?

many have already forgotten that this time last year Napolitano and DHS has classified many administration critics as "domestic terror threats."

Twice.

the crackdown will come soon enough in the name of "national security."

Remember the Obama mantra: "Never let a good crisis go to waste."

Except that Emirates doesn't operate into La Guardia....

Oh, I see you linked a news source snippet, with the correct description of "JFK"...

Doesn't this just look like an abundance of 'caution' on the part of the airline that was involved in the first place and got so much attention the other day?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Just wondering when some ATS members learn to stop the knee-jerk over-reactions to every little story, and then deem it to be "Breaking News"....)
However, I did NOT miss the obvious ulterior motive here, OP.
The "Blame Obama!" mantra....and, now, too (apparently) Napolitano....I mean, they ACTED very, very quickly, and caught this Times Square alleged bomber the other day....sheesh! What more do you want?
Obama could cure cancer next week, and there'd still be some "right-winging-agenda" out there to criticize him, in some way....
