I'm probably a little behind-the-times with this, but my boyfriend just showed me the vids for Project Natal...I think he was a little disappointed when I didn't meet it with the same entusiasm he reacted with.

It's amazing technology, truly...but my initial reaction was one of skepticism, bordering despair. My immediate train of thought went something like this: "If Microsoft (the makers of the Xbox) can produce this sort of technology for mere gaming, what could they be contributing to our military complex? Could this be the technology that will make Blue Beam a reality?"...etc and so-forth.

Food for thought... (if you're not too busy playing video games, lol)
