A Chemical Refinery Exploded In San Antonio This Morning- ongoing

Apparently across from Brooks City Base (formerly Brook AFB) I'm not clear if an 18 wheeler that exploded started the fire or it was within the refinery itself. The driver of an 18 wheeler is missing, another driver has been transported with critical injuries (burns) and another has been treated at the scene. Closures and evacuations to a half mile have been ordered, but people with respiratory issues, old, young & pets are advised to stay inside. They don't know what all is being manufactured, but naptha, jet fuel & mineral spirits are some of them. Other solvents. About 12 tanks total. This is near the San Antonio River (which is being monitored) & the missions. The western portion of Brooks has just been evacuated.

Fire Chief just said they don't know what started the fire.

The Fire is under control at San Antonio refinery. One critically burned, another hurt, A man was missing but is now acounted for,

1/2 mile area was evacuated
