I enjoyed reading the fascinating On the Track of Unknown Animals by Bernard Heuvelmans. The book is expensive, but perhaps you can find it in a library.

Encyclopedia of Cryptozoology: A Global Guide to Hidden Animals and Their Pursuers - Edited by Michael Newton

Rumors of Existence/Shadows of Existence - Matthew A. Bille

Mysteries of the Unknown: Mysterious Creatures - Time-Life Books

Those are my personal favorites as well as the ones I find the most informative. PS3Geek is right though, you'll find hundreds of books out there covering both broad and specific cryptozoological topics, using the net.

These titles are mostly about bigfoot type creatures, but here's my favourites (and I have an extensive library about this topic):

Cryptozoology A to Z by Loren Coleman & Jerome Clark
Sasquatch the Apes Among Us by John Green
Abominable Snowman, Legend Comes to Life by Ivan T Sanderson
The Yowie, In Search of Australia's Bigfoot by Tony Healy & Paul Cropper
Bunyips & Bigfoots, In Search of Australia's Mystery Animals by Malcolm Smith

and a little known book which really piqued my interest and was a very unusual (in a good way) read:
The Creature, Personal Experiences with Bigfoot by Jan Klement

I think all of these are available on Amazon, though the John Green book can be hard to get.
