How do you get the quote function to include the nickname?

I see the quote button (used it) and know the BBcode for quoting,
but how do you get it to auto-insert the nickname of the person your responding to?

It took me a while to notice this myself, months in fact, but to get the members name in a quote you have to click on the quote button that is actually in the top right hand corner of that perticular post, and remember to remove any parts that aren't required so that you don't end up with an excessive quote warn
