Directly related to 2012 and whats going on?

Theres alot of conspiracies out there, but there seems to be something to 2012 that most people can not explain.

"Mr. [Goethe], what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever [read]. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul." - Billy Madison

A simple "wrong" would've done just fine.

Im sorry the title question with the date was wrong, it was merely a typo...

It was meant to say 2012.

The U.S. Govt under Pres Obama is currently working on ways to take over the internet... Have you heard this or not?

I was asking, I guess to stupidly for the likes of some, if this was due to 2012 in anyway?

Is that such a dumb question?

If so, please forgive my ignorance and idiocy.

Sorry, I'm always looking for a situation to quote Billy Madison.

As to your question, I don't think any one government can completely take over or shut down the internet. It would be much more useful as a disinfo tool than just shutting it down or hijacking it. Plus, Obama, for all of his faults, is just another politician and his agenda is the same as all politicians: carve out a legacy, make some money, fade away when it's no longer profitable.

I don't see him being the harbinger of doom or the antichrist, just another guy who inherited a broken office and economy and has made some bad choices.

LOL, No worries.

I too love a good Billy Madison quote.

Good points though about the net takeover.

You dont think 'TPTB' will try for a simple shut off switch for the net?

The disinfo theory is a good one, and more than likely right on.

Keep everyone chasing their tails and all.
