I suspect the dead squirrel was a bit of a nut job, therefore the other squirrel may just have been proctecting a potential food source

Go little squirrel!
Such a sad situation right there, but he sure did show strength and power!

I hate crows, not only that they destroyed my outside furniture, but they also steal things and show no form of respect to humans.

Aw this is not the full clip Man!

In this video at the end the squirrel eats his friend so the crows wont, truly tragic if you ask me.

Its so sad and naive to think that we are the only animals on this planet that have emotions/feelings and survival instincts.

If everybody was to study each animal in great detail, (perhaps instead of the bull# serials on TV they could broadcast more factual geographic/nature programmes, where people can actually learn something, instead of being dumbed down all the time) as a human collective, it would open more eyes people would be so amazed to see how clever and similar other animals are to ourselves.

are you going to put me on the Anti-Squirrel Terror List now?

By the way, animals do not have more soul than humans. For that matter, do humans even have souls?

Anyway, animals are just animals. No more, no less.

You could tell if you watched carefully that the live squirrel was ex mill or at the very least had put the hours in down the dojo, there's got to be a work opportunity in personal security.

Nice to see a squirrel doing well on a youtube vid rather than the usual drunken or smoking negative stereotype vids we normally see.

Im getting real tired of this ignorance. These threads shouldn't even be here theres no conspiracy to establish animal psychology or not.

The cat video thread the male cat was clearly humping a corpse and yes squirrels are frequent to cannibalize even their live young.

Anyone IGNORING THE FACTS of right in front of them is either pushing their "human race is all evil" guilt porn or heart bleeding astigmatism.

Really get a damn grip, stop using you tube as a source and perhaps ask an honest to god conservationist about this crap before you get all "Disney" on the facts.

Well you are 100% percent correct, animals are animals.

In which, we are included.

YOU! Sir. apparently did not even take the time to watch my Simba video, Whereas you had you would have most definitely, unequivocally, undeniably and reliably clearly seen that Simba was terribly grieved by his fathers death.

Damn that Scare, how dare he...HOW DARE HE!

And yet you totally take his side on this. And you call yourself a Lion....more like a lioness if you ask me.

Really get a damn grip,

A little low on the compassion there Huggiesunrise, did your parents not allow you a pet or something? in regards to IGNORING THE FACTS, get a grip man! this sort of thread brings us together and shows us just how much responsibility we have as caretakers of this planet.

With light of the situation in the gulf of mexico, nobody is IGNORING THE FACTS, I can assure you of that.

Who made you God for the day?

Know-it-alls (who are wrong) are soooo annoying in the morning...

peace

Can't get the squirrel video to load. Oh well... I'll take the posters word for it.
Tragic, courageous little squirrel life...

Who made you God for the day?

seeing as God is an invention, you can say that I have re-invented myself.

Personally, I find that people who treat animals as if they think like humans are the ones that get eaten when they get out their car to try pet the "cute" lion cub in the reserve.

While some are under the impression that the dead squirrel being protected is his " friend" . I assure you that your impressions are wrong.

What you are witnessing is the aftermath of a devestating squirrel blood fued...... and from what we know of blood fued's is that there can be only one victor.

He is not " protecting" anything, but conserving the spoils of war for himself. I'm fairly certain I saw him nibbling on an eyeball in the video. I'm sure he would have thrown the squirrel's skull at the crow's if it had not been covered in succulent flesh, and fit for it's trophy collection.

LOL!

Actually i have the elite special edition Predator 2 DVD and on the commentary the director speaks about how he got the Idea for the Predator to keep skull trophies from a docudrama about Squirrels and their blood feuds called "Dat My Nutz Bitch!".

The Yakuza in Japan have been studying the Squirrels technique for years now. Many a Ninjutsu have been designed using the Squirrels notorious final blow.....

Actual now that I remember Monty Python gang chose a killer rabbit for the famous scene because they feared terminal repercussions from the squirrel population if they were not careful..

And as a last note.....the Anti-Defamation League has been trying to keep the squirrel wars under raps using propaganda like Alvan and the chipmunks the cartoon, Alvan and the chipmunks the movie and so on.

And to think one poster actually said there was no conspiracy here...*pift*
