news.bbc.co.uk

"The people who went missing during Lebanon's civil war in the 1970s and 80s are in danger of being forgotten as their parents and siblings grow older. She never saw or heard from her family again."

Sad and heartbreaking this is still continuing for almost 35 years now. The article even mentions that some people are possible still being held in secret prisons throughout the area or other areas. There is an estimated 17,000 still missing who may have been abducted, murdered or sold into slavery. I say if there isn't enough of a voice in Lebanon for the majority to remember it falls to the rest of the world to see that these people are brought to justice and the information found to save the poor victims of a civil unrest that shattered not only buildings but families and lives.
