Physicists from the University of Granada and University of Valencia, analyzing data sent by the Huygens probe from Titan, have “unequivocally” proved that there is natural electrical activity on Titan, the largest of Saturn's moons. The world scientist community believes that the probability of organic molecules, precursors of life, being formed is higher on planets or moons which have an atmosphere with electrical storms.

I personally believe life can exist on Titan, who knows it might even be quite evolved as well. Also, isn’t there a theory that lighting might of jump started life on earth? Of course there are theories like life started through hydrothermal vents, and the panspermia theory, but wasn’t there a theory on lightning giving live a jump start somewhere? Either way great article enjoy.

Lightning would have had to start life on earth, as nitrogen cannot be used in a non-nitrate form. As for Titan, I think the Jovian moons are some of the most likely places in the solar system for life to have formed.
