As I mentioned in another thread, I've refrained from expressing an anti-illegal stance for fear of a tidal wave that may be coming. Between the militias, the Tea Partiers, the illegals, and now environmentalists, this "enemy within" rhetoric seems to pushing the average American toward some very un-American thoughts.

Maybe Obama should go for that photo op with the Hooverville Style, that might soothe the flare up with the illegal immigrants?

Maybe he should go for photo ops in those ravaged border towns...

or, Maybe Obama should go right to the throat of the issue,
and stage some photo ops at the Tea Party demonstrations?

Agreed! Diety or no, I'll have to have "bought the farm" before anyone will just take it. I don't know what patchouli does for a feller, but target practice sure pays off.

One has to wonder why it is that the Government is always being reactive instead of proactive.

I am referring to the :

"Cattle are out of the barn, panic, lock the barn, round up the cattle."

This reactivity is essentially just like sticking your fingers in a damn to stop the leak.

Is it that the Government, and those people within it are just that ignorant, or something else?

Sorry, if I see something is building, through understanding the logic of pattern behaviors, I do something about it in advance because I stopped being reactive.

Being reactive does nothing for people in an emergency situation, except too little, too late.

Then we as a country are playing catch-up in a Catch-22 scenario.

As soon as the first issues at the border surfaced with "Swine Flu" I would have closed the border, completely, to cease all flow of infection and sickness.

An epidemic and or pandemic is a major concern and I would have had Mexico assist us.

It has always surprised me just how ignorant those people within Government are about these situations, either through incompetence or gross malfeasance.

Now we have this rather ignorant border issue with Arizona who is stepping past their mandates, because of the socioeconomic developments between Federal funding issues with political blackmail and State pandering to Washington D.C.

This is exactly what is going to lead from a silent border war to an aggressive one.

If the "Coyote's" smuggling people across the border have more discipline, incentive, and creative means to bring in the "Illegal Aliens", then obviously either the Federal Government needs to quit being stingy with funding or the border states need to tell Washington D.C. to shut the Hell up.
