Seriously though, you, sir, have been a staple here for SIX YEARS, a member who has vast knowledge, a keen insight, WONDEROUS civility, and, I for one, would like to THANK YOU for entering our multiple Town Squares.

It's funny you used "town squares" as an analog to ATS. Way back in the day, Bill, Simon, and I used to discuss the "small town becoming a city" evolution of our little web community. It never ceases to amaze me when people actually "get it".

well hey man, I just got done reading all 1000 of your threads including responses and I gotta say, you could bundle that up and sell it as a book! Or does it all belong to ats now? That would be a pretty cool coffee table book: 1000 favorite threads from various ats members. They would have to make a few volumes... Someone would buy it! Especially the people who could point and say Hey thats me! Haha . maybe not. I would just mass produce it at low quality so its cheap to make. Then you can sell it a little cheaper. Yeah people can just go look all this up and copy, paSte and print it for free, but what they are paying for is the fact that someone did all the research to find the really entertaining threads so you don`t have to waste your time. You could have one book for each catergory...

I have been here since 2004 also, and boy the place has changed.
I come here for news now, I dont even listen to mainstream media.

Ovbiously there is a lot of nonsence on here, things that make you laugh.
But I have always been respectfull of others ways.

I think as the site has grown, the staff have grown with it.
And that is not easy.
