I was watching Glenn Beck on his founding fathers segment.

NOTE: This is my second time ever watching Glenn Beck.

He made alot of sense about the founding fathers and their intentions for our republic. Add to that I am really beginning to get angry at Washington and how they are so corrupt and retarded.

As many of you know I admitted that I never truly made up my mind when it came to Socialism v.s. Libertarianism as I saw the positive of both. I think I have made my conclusion. LIBERTARIAN!

Not just Libertarian but Minarchism. It is the belief that the only thing government should do is protect its citizens from infringement upon their individual rights. Which means government should only protect you from violence and harm. Additonally they should protect our nation from threats.

We should leave all international organizations(including the UN). We should remove all departments that were not established by the founding fathers, eliminate the military(replace it with National Guard), eliminate all taxes(except a 25% sales tax), and eliminate all regulations of finance(except transparency).

It also makes me think of a quote.

"A government that is big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take it all away"

I also think that everything the government does for you they must take away from another person to give it to you.

So I say, "LIVE FREE OR DIE (TRYING)!"

I agree sir, I agree. We are all sovereign citizens of the United States of America, and we should be free to do as we please, as long as we don't infringe on anyone's rights ourselves.

Live Free, Or Die.

These days I'm leaning more towards aboloshing the federal govt. altogether. If you know of a program or agency, ANY program or agency, with the word "federal" in front of it, replace that word with "state" and ask yourself if it's possible.

I think that in every case it is, and it would solve alot if not all of our problems in this country.

Peace

I mostly agree with you EXCEPT every country must have some form of federalism. What we could do is establish that all governors are like the heads of state and they collectively vote upon the issues while remaining governors. Make all founding fathers federal agencies into state run agencies.

With that let's say we would need 35 governors to agree to pass anything, then it would go to each individual states legislature. No more national anything.

I agree, But to get there will take as long as it took to get where we are now.
You cant just cut off people and company's that have been raised on 4 generations of welfare.
I'm afraid the only thing that can save it now would be a massive population and technology reduction. Getting back to self sufficiency and living off the local land.
A pandemic or small meteor strike would suck short term but have long term benefits.
