As for time machines? Well that's a massive can of worms. Change the past you change the future its as simple as that. Oh and a time machine can only work from when it was turned on. You can't travel back before that.

Turn on your google earth.
Put a place mark on your location on earth view. ( Doesn't have to be exact) its ok I aint a stalker.
Go outside and point your pen into the sky.
Notice the time you do this.
Now flick to google sky.

How is it that the lazer origonates from your place mark yet its from space?
