California calls for boycott of Arizona
news.yahoo.com...

Pretty funny since California has the largest population of illegals in the country, well over 2 million.

Illegal aliens come in all colors, black, brown, yellow and even white. Immigration reform is not about skin color . It's about a persons alien status. The fact is the biggest offenders come from south of the U.S. border and most of their skin is brown.

Isn' it funny how you still manage to say that the biggest offenders come from the south and most of their skin is "brown"? Which is exactly why some are already salivating with glee thinking they are just going to target a bunch of brown illegal and problem solve.

It was the same thing with the war on terror. Lets go after the*snip* and now everybody's under Big brother-style surveillance. Let’s see what happens when a citizen is affected in any way.

Now lets se how many stars I get since the first reply to a thread usually get the most stars.

I wonder does chris matthews think the idea of texas leaving the union is such a joke now. Is it really against the law for texas to do such a thing?

Plus does chris matthews really think its a joke anymore, lol.

I think that California needs to tred very carefully cause AZ has one ace up its sleeve and could really put the screws to the state of California.
You see if California wants to boycott the state of Arizona, then all Arizona has to do is simply state, we want our water and there fore we are going to take it, thus putting California, that is in the middle of a drought, under alot of pressure, as the state of Arizona gave up the rights to a major water supply to California for a few years, so they could always play that card.

What a joke California government has lost its mind. I support the law as long as it is used properly.

I am starting to wonder though if all of this was not intentional and this would be the cause of another civil war.

I wish more states would pass the law as well. The Fed. gov. is doing a poor job. Let the states do the right thing.

Probably the real reason behind the boycott,California knows that when the illegals start leaving Arizona, they'll head to California. A safe bastion for illegals.

Then CA needs to fix their problem. Not throw blame.

I would have never dreamed I would see the day when a state calls for a boycott of another state.

Yea that is exactly the reason, I started this thread the other day... Sanctuary Cities don't offer a mat for the Illegals departing from AZ

Its funny that these cities call themselves sanctuary cities, and they are avoiding calls for the plight of those illegals. I hope these criminals go to these sanctuary cities and make them feel the real pain.

I agree, piss-off over 12 million illegals and they might just start it.
Will see what happens in May , with demostrations planned in 70 U.S. citys.

I believe the Arizona law will hold up in court and many states will follow.
The courts would not shoot itself in the foot with the reasonable suspicion and probable cause laws , those laws already passed court tests and their not going to reverse them. And as far as not having proper I.D. anyone of any color can be detained or held in jail (without being arrested or charged) until it can be established who they are.

So many other laws in other states have failed
Arizona's new law was well researched, well planned, and well written.

Don't assume I agree with the law I'm just stating the facts, and I do think it was ALL planned to lead to civil unrest and martial law.

Arizona's Law is exactly the law on that was already on the books. They made it so that the states can remove the handcuffs off of the officers so they can ask for you legal status.

Honestly I do not give a crap if it upset a bunch of illegals. They can kiss my legal American behind. They are not here legally, so they have no business being here period. I have ancestry that links back to Native American (close links I might add), so the whole well so and so was illegal back in the day does not work with me. A big part of my blood line was here first.

There are legal ways to enter. They can either go about it the right way to bugger off. Truth is they hurt the economy more than they help. Anyone who says different is just to prideful to work a crap job if they have too. They do not work jobs Americans will not they work jobs that scum bag employers refuse to pay good pay for. Those who support and endorse illegal immigration and those who house, or employ illegal’s are no different than the big companies everyone on here hates so much who go overseas and get child labor, near slave labor, or slave labor for products sold in the U.S. that used to be made by Americans.

I hope all the states pick up laws like this and start chunking the illegal’s back to the countries (yes I said countries because they come from all over the world) they belong in. I am sick of legal American citizens being screwed by illegals and I am sick of the tax payers supporting illegals.

If this ends up being the next civil war (which again I think might have been planned all along) you can guess which side I will be fighting on.

Edit to add: If California wants to boycott Arizona for this then I will make sure California gets no money of mine. I will not buy anything (knowingly) from California if they do this.

If you ask Me, California is not really in the position to be boycotting anyone. They need all of the Revenue they can get, but by pissing off an entire neighbor state because of an EXISTING LAW is just plain out stupid.
Now the people from AZ wont go to CA this summer, not spending their money.
This is why Cali Is going down the gutter, they have a problem saying NO when it comes to keeping the state alive.

Well let me see.

California this past year and Nevada were having a dispute over businesses. Nevada was courting business with incentives.

Now California STICKS there nose into another State's business.

I left Fresno CA when I saw the writing on the wall for that state and this country's economy.

California is a bunch of frelling morons attempting to create a socialist utopia.

I guess it is not working. Half a Trillion in debt and counting. I can see Cali going into the same meltdown as Greece in the very near future.

Keep it up Cali, you have already had over 1 million people exit that quagmire over the last few years. People that saw the writing. I am sure your tax base is leaving in record numbers.

I see the bailouts of the states will probably be the next step for the statists.

Hmmmm. I wonder how that will pan out in the eyes of other states.

Since its not illegal anymore for Governor to meet with foreign heads of state and leaders.

Maybe Arizona should make some secret deals with some friendlier governments. Other than the mean and hateful ones we have now.

What if a coalition of states decided that The government presently employed was not following its own charter.
What if that coalition made back room deals with Russia,CHina,France,Germany.

Then when the gov pushed to far, the un would send in blue hats to keep the peace and side with the coalition states.

The pen is mightier than the sword. When that pen controls a bigger sword.
