I don't disagree with any of your points, but the reality of the situation needs to be taken into account. In AZ the vast majority of illegal aliens are of Hispanic descent. So statistically, the majority of people asked to prove their citizenship will be of Hispanic descent. It's how the math works out and is indeed an unfortunate side effect to any illegal alien laws passed in the Southwestern US.

I don't have a good solution to this problem. But, the sheer number of illegal aliens in our country is causing problems, and a solution needs to be found. The federal government is not doing it, so now it is up to the states. It is a lose, lose situation.
