That's a great site - I'm off to have a bit of a lookey.

Just out of interest damn_ummmm. When you created this thread the Rudster was still PM. Will having Julia Gillard as the head of the party now be influencing your vote?

Just wondering ...

Not really.. I didn't vote for him last time and she's done nothing to sway me at all.

I'd just like to say good luck everyone in your respective choices tomorrow.

And remember what they say ...

"Who ever you vote for, you get a politician."

Ok so we are 9 days out from voting and still no result!!!

I can't believe how close these figures are, it's crazy... and every time I check them, it's different...

AEC Virtual Tally Room

I hope we have an answer soon, feels like the country is in limbo.

I was hoping they'd go back to the polls.

Betcha there'd be a different outcome if that was to happen.

I'd have to agree with you my friend.

More so for the lack of democracy in my opinion in the final result than the winner.

The Liberals got more of the primary vote which should count for something.

This preferential voting system we have is absolute crap and should be reformed.

We now have a minority Labour-Green coalition government who doesnt have the ability to properly govern...you watch, we will be back at the polls within 18 months and the liberals will win.

The huge swing to the liberal party in this election shows the discontent towards the labour party. Ive been a labour voter all my life but they really messed everything up the last 3 years, so much so that I jumped over the fence to the other side.

Now, this extreme left wing coalition will bring in the Carbon Tax......you watch the cost of living go up.....

Watch the Greens influence in closing up the state forests to recreational activities, they already said they will close coastal areas to fishing. Watch Gun laws get even tighter, like they arent tight enough already.

Watch the ban on hunting pests come about.

If it was labour by itself then I wouldnt be soo upset, upset but not so much, but this coalition with the Greens is a total reciper for disaster!

Time will tell.

I sure hope we'll be back at the polls sooner rather than later...this just doesn't feel right.

Not that you can trust a politician outright anyway in general, but having Joolia - who is not exactly a shining beacon of intelligence and trustworthiness - taking the reins could get ugly, given the way the world is edging towards general upheaval.

Sigh - yep, let's see. The SMH is calling her 'The Chosen One'...*gag*.

This might get even scarier than previous years. I do a lot of work for the Club Industry and Xenophon nearly killed them with his anti-gambling crusade.
Thought he was out of the picture, but with Andrew Wilkie on the case ... well, we'll see.

(Note: just an observation, not personally against cracking down on problem gambling.)

Explanation: By pleading for a recount instead of demanding a revolution is saying something that I'm not quite getting???

Personal Disclosure: Care to put your neck on the chopping block of full responsibility of both oneself and ones greater environment including all lives that reside within it?
