Republicans are getting their money now from the big banks. Getting ready for those elections..and hopefully....water down financial reform!! Nope, Republicans DEFINITELY don't stand for Wall Street! They stand for us! All the proof I need.

The BS game they are playing right now is despicable.

You have to check out this WONDERFUL FUNDRAISER full of Lobbyist.

Who was there?
Senator George Lemieux
Mitch McConnell. Senate Minority Leader
Senator John Corwyn
Senator Richard Burr
Senator Richard Grassley

Other guests....And...my personal favorites:

Wendy Grubb, a TOP LOBBYIST FOR CITIBANK...who took TARP funds and hasn't repayed A DIME.

Kirsten Chadwick, a LOBBYIST for Zurich Financial Group, a financial services conglomerate.

Here is the link of the actual invitation:
politicalpartytime.org...

Article concerning Republican fundraiser with financial industry:

Here is a quote from the article:

only Charlie Black spoke to us. Black is a longtime corporate lobbyist who now represents a variety of investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, within a trade group called the “Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.”

thinkprogress.org...

Added video of some of our wonderful patriots:

Hopefully they can work some tax cuts in there for them as well!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe one day everyone will understand that BOTH of these parties are under the thumb of "special interest". Special interest is a nice name for "Organizations that bribe or buy" politicians votes with campaign contributions, library donations, speaking engagements, after-office jobs, board seats for relatives, etc.

While we bicker about social issues, both of these parties are robbing the nation blind to secure their own checkbooks.

Corruption and theft are the two biggest problems in this country but most do not recognize the game.

Too many people think of political parties like "Sports" teams..... doesn't matter if the refs are dirty or your team cheats as long as your team wins.... and both of these "sports teams" are robbing the bank but that doesn't matter as long as they "say" they want to do something "good"..... and most of you are OK with that?

If you are....

Well it's just crazy. Majority leader McConnell is saying the bill is to weak....but at the same time he's meeting with the top lobbyists for the financial industry?? Including Citibank and GOLDMAN SACHS.

This is insane. They will fight to water down anything that is in it...and in the meantime milk the banks for campaign funds.

I agree with you...both parties are completely tainted with corporate interests. There are a few good ones on both sides who are truly fighting for the American people...too many though are easily bought. Some have no choice if they want to stay elected.

I want the bill to be stronger than it is. I want to HAMMER the financial industry for the hell they've put upon our citizens and economy.

For cripes sakes...how can they possibly be meeting with Citibank that took TARP funds and hasn't payed it back?

Wouldn't that mean they are funding Republican campaigns with tax dollars as is often accused of Democrats?

Holy Hell people.

hey the big bad GOP needs money badly to help trey grayson take out rand paul in kentucky

can't have a guy for small gov't, budgets,,, downsizing,,, and not falling in line with the GOP--we say one thing and do another crowd

as i know david knows------ ron paul 2012

what i hate is the part of te party,, and msm coverage that bashes them for being pro-bush era,,, that is when ii found ron paul after awakening to the horrors, lies, and atrocities of the bush administration,,,, and that i have conservative gov't ideals,, with liberal social views and agree with ron paul's message

bush sent me down this road,,,,, and a host of others,,, we didn't just start hating on obama

and i see the fake left-right paradigm

ps... dodd conveniently left out the audit the fed amendment that passed the house,,,, go figure

well this one is a no brainer for me...

I think the Tickle down Free Market tendencies (in a system that is not free market)
make the GOP perfect pawns to do nothing of substance. The current climate will make this easy to obscure...

It is funny I hear all the shiznits that progressive/liberals/freedom haters is the group
that services the corporate stranglehold... However it seems obvious that the GOP and that lean are enamored with money making in our society and despite all the liberal
propaganda, do their very best to assist the big guy, purposefully, you know they create jobs and all,,, fine, embrace it then.

But what I love so much is the fact that my beliefs perpetuate ALL
sides of the dysfunction. I love the socialism and the corporation, every dictator is my friend in thought, I want to regulate big business to give them more power.

Repeat, I want to regulate big business to give them more power...

Like I crash my car to increase its value I guess...

Killing people _ saves lives, don't forget it

anyhow all this distortion fawks me off

I wish we could all be honest in debate, this impressionistic Bullshiz statue is soul
killing. I would pay Mother$@#$@@ to be honest here, anyhow...
