So I take it that's the end of ATS chat then?

I wanted to post this, but didn't know where to... So here it is

I'm assuming with the lack of members online, and the error messages, as well as the fact that its April and "ATS 2010" is immanent that chat is now gone.

Yeah, I loved chat, we petitioned for its saving, to no avail, and now there are some of us left disappointed. I made many friends on chat, and felt more included in ATS in general from being able to chat in real time with the members who lived on there as much as I did!
It also never failed to amaze me how everyone was speaking from different times of the day (easily amused, I know) but everyone was lovely, and we had many-a-serious discussion, and also many not-so-serious talks. The people always cheered me up, and it was an easy place to share threads and talk about our own experiences without having to write a paragraph on it, and then reply to many different members via threads.
Plus I was away at the weekend so I never got to say goodbye to my chat friends, or to chat itself, and I'm well gonna miss it!

This whole new idea better be as good as chat was, because I think it's important to have a place where members can talk in instant messaging, and get to know others, share views, etc, especially on things you don't feel are thread-worthy.

So this is my tribute to the ATS chat service that I and others loved, as I felt it was fitting on it's departure. To the good times! The debates, the laughs, the getting to know people! Bye bye chat!

Actually... No! It's not goodbye! I'm picking up the campaign torch! We can still save this ship! We can't give up now!

Well it's still there at the moment, and it's certainly well used during the ATS Live radio shows every Saturday night.....so lets hope the management have a change of heart eh?

I never used it before the radio show, but it's a great way to interact with others regarding the shows subjects in real time.

I've been really busy lately so I haven't come into chat (or even been on ATS as much) and I just tried to sign in there and I'm getting an error as well.

(Thanks for posting btw and letting me know it wasn’t just me. )

But I really enjoyed some conversations I had in the past in there with some people so it's kinda sad to see it go tbh (if this is indeed the end of it)

Sorry i didn't try it today, but theres been a few glitches today. I couldn't post a new article earlier for about 20 minutes.

Might have been a glitch my end though, not sure.
