Congratulations!

Wow. Good job. Everyone here can be proud of the work they do - management, admin, mods, and members.

...and special thanks to Simon, Bill and Springer.

Still haven't heard from officials as to why child-pornography searches get directed here.

Well gs, not an official or anything, but I do believe this explains it:

"Child pornography searches" do not get directed here. That's a rather broad statement that implies something may be happening that is not.

Because of the title of some threads (as schrodingers dog pointed out), an infinitesimal amount of porn searches result in a very small number of people clicking-through to ATS.

Given that we have over 1.5 million distinct pages, it should be no surprise.

Congratulations to ATS staff on the good news.

The significant increase in visitors is not only a testament to the many quality threads and diverse topics, but also to the hard work by those working behind the scenes to maintain this forum.

Groovy stuff, really...

But I wish the thread title didn't keep making me see "History traffic lights on.." heh..

I keep thinking "Archaeological dig reveals traffic lights.."

but nonetheless, as long as 99% of the traffic is well intended, (not intent on grabbing their own spotlight, ahem, as some 2010 posters seem) this is good!

Sounds to me like someone might have a web-jacker from traversing non-well intended websites. Nothing to worry about here, SO.

Man the lengths some people will stoop to in order to slander a popular forum...

You didn't even need to acknowledge that post mate... not in any fair minded persons opinion..

(much the same as people complaining about nefarious content in the ads, sure, some ads are off, but far out, get a grip people..)

ATS as always the Flagship when it comes to Breaking Alternative News ahead of MSM outlets.
The Public are growing increasingly sick of the Recession and being Taxed more, with no explanation as to why their country's deficit is growing ever increasingly higher.ATS is great in terms of explaining simple lay-man ways of who (and why) the Economy is like it is at the moment, who's to blame and not fondling off questions for "another time" like so many Politicians seemingly like to do.
People are fed up of excuses, and rightly so, come here for the answers.

Not only is this a testament to how well this site is received and operated, it is also reminiscent of the anger, frustration, and flat out fear of what may be ahead not only for our country, but the world. So much happening right now it's impossible to keep up.

This place keeps it all stacked up in one spot.

I've lost lots of sleep in this place and have been yelled at by my wife a million times for being on here too much...in which she's probably right.

Anyway, congrats ATS!

Well... one million is so last-week.

Monday and Yesterday were both saw an excess of 160,000 visits... we've never previously had a day above 160, and we had two in a row.

I suppose the next milestone is a big-fat cable TV deal for our two Conspiracy Chicks.

Internet transparency for human social implementations...seriously, why should we not have insight to our governings?

If it is a matter of education...the bell curve will stabilize within the generation if we can ignore the media manipulations regarding the new Brittany Spears album (I'm not saying to those whom might want to listen to it to not buy it...but not on the primetime schedule of our global media thank you very much...

Why not aim for the sky and beyond?

In a perfect world, grammatical expression and spelling (
) will be ignored in favour of the expression.

So maybe two generations...

I wonder if there will ever be a ball that I set up that you won't spike.

I guess restraint in such light shall also remain a pending ambition.

Something of a milestone to be sought if you will ...

AboveTopSecret.com has hit historic traffic highs last week, the week ending April 24, 2010. This is the first time where we exceeded an amazing one million visits in a single week. During that same week, we delivered over 4.2 million pages to people from 216 different countries and territories. And if that weren't enough, over 180,000 distinct/unique pages of content were seen by all those people in all those countries.

To put that into perspective, just three years ago as we were preparing to form "The Above Network, LLC," our visitors for the entire month April of 2007 totaled just 985,053.

Also, while traffic from search engines and linking websites continues to rise, we're seeing a higher percentage of people hit the ATS site home pages as their primary point of entry. In April of 2007, we saw 217,000 distinct people visit the site home as their first page... while last week, that number is 425,000. Meaning more and more people have become aware of ATS, and check out the home page regularly.

The graph below illustrates the growth in weekly traffic since January of 2009:

For those interested in more comparative data on our traffic growth, monthly traffic reports are available on our stats page.

Congratulations here from the Czech republic
, ton of FLAGS and a quadrillion of STARS. All the conspirators here I know are aplauding to you and the succes of your site and the professionalism with which the users and mods are cooperating with eachother.
