bestride you i am the wind--
i glide above the ground
and give power to the weak.

i am the blue of the sky
everlasting and beautiful, --
the gem of the gods!

i am the green of the grass
bending beneath thy feet.
a color known to naught but you!

the white of the stars
the eyes in the sky overseeing
your stintless stride.

the black of the sea i am,
the home that had borne
Odysseus, he who suffered so.

the yellow of the sun- all seeing
bringing warmth to cold souls
and love to the spiteful.

go where you please
for no matter the place,
I will be there, for you.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. It reminds me of the day I watched the earth breath. Thanks for reminding me of that experience.

Try to write one on what you are not.
That seems to be my experience.

I was sitting on a mountainside overlooking a lake. The wind was gently blowing and cool. The sun was warm. The sky deep blue with white puffy clouds. It was a perfect day in a perfect spot. The trees and grass seemed to sway in time with my breaths. I forgot myself and watched the world breath.

I don't know. It was the coolist thing. A moment out of time.

very nice,, try one of mine..

do you know me?
Feeling Empty, useless , left out and forgotten.
mind races wild, defiled, but intensions not rotten.

I just need a place, to call my home.
Wish Uncle Sam, would throw me a bone.

You see, inside my beating chest, lays my Best friend
my kind heart.
Hoping it will see me through, not to the end, but to
my next start.

Do you know me? I ask. Without my "express card"?
Do I know myself? I task, to look inside my soul hard.

Hoping to find inside, my lifes goal.. but fearing
to find my hyde, has a neverending hole..

that's great! kind of reminds me of Emily Dickinson's I'm Nobody.

I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody too?
Then there's two of us! Don't tell
They'd banish us you know.

How dreary to be Somebody!
How public, like a frog.
To chant your name the livelong June
To an admiring Bog!

well ok volley

boldly we go...
We as humans have a great desire chore,
to search for meaning, outward, upward, to and for,
and after we see all there is, and more,
we look where we've never been, before

The Greatest Soul, Explore. ................................... DRS

(awful perverted thought at the last line) forgive me

ya poetry is beautiful, the meter, rhyme scheme, stanza, literary devices, it's an art.

A very meditative work, do you meditate?
Your last two lines are inspired.
