Earlier this week we had the situation with the meteor in Puget Sound, WA, which was real but later was claimed to be a hoax. Strangely enough this
was never clarified and the media seem to be keeping a low profile on fixing it.
Now in todays papers there is a report stating that Puget Sound is experiencing the lowest tides in 19 years.
"There are 36 factors that affect the tides, from the Earth's proximity to the sun and the moon to the moon's angle in relation to the equator,
said Richard Strickland, who teaches oceanography at the University of Washington."
I think the AB "hoax" or "not a hoax" has me seeing bogeymen everywhere
