the capital of Kabul, President Hamid Karzai's spokesman, Waheed Omar, said any attempt to keep girls out of school is a "terrorist act."

Enough of this already. Why we're in this war trying to "liberate" and nation this hell hole is way beyond me.

This is not a battle that can be won. These animals who would poison young girls because they are being educated are without question being supported by many of the same folks who we believe are on our side.

The government has no incentive to end the conflict. They are becomming massively rich by the continuation of this war.

We should simply pull the troops home now and the hell with Afganistan. There is nothing in that place worthy of a single soldier's life. If it goes back to the Taliban, who cares.

It is so hard to understand why it is that they will kill and sicken and mutilate that which they love? Those women and girls that are their own daughters and family, yet blinded by belief they would do such a thing, that it is even suspected tells me it is possible.

The oil companies do. Its not about the people there. Its never about the people. War is always about resources and economics.

This tells us how far they are willing to go to win. And based on that, we lost this war.
