Well Andreas Kammerer says that is wrong. Can you actually provide a citation as in where this was written? Is this your recollection or is this from a document of some sort?

Excuse me, but put on the thinking cap and realize that this in no way makes a statement about the condition of the camera. Drawing such a conclusion is why this thread is full of people unable to understand the simple issue that the object in the image is Venus.

first of all. disclosur3 thank you for alerting us to a possible threat . second i can understand normal debate on this subject in order to find a solution. but these current people that insist that it is Venus and you truly believe it, why do you not just leave the thread and thank your lucky stars you know the answer? why are you still here insisting that everyone else is wrong? why not let them be the judge and come to there own conclusion. just my opinion! why create a argumentative atmosphere. when the people that you are opposing just want the truth, and apparently not the answer you believe to be true. you have stated your opinion now leave the thread and let us come to are own conclusion thank you.

Thank you for your kind words but I just want to clarify that I've never told anyone that they were wrong...I'm open to any possibility at this point.

so has Venus been ruled out disclosur3? or still up in the air, and what do you think about the core camera being offline?

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Honestly, your arrogant, reiterated rants are getting really old. Please move on if you have nothing new to add to this discussion...

Do you have any evidence whatsoever that the camera itself is down?

Once again, SOHO is not the same as STEREO.

It is not at all uncommon for data transmissions from the STEREO satellites to be delayed.

I don't believe that ANYTHING has been ruled out at this point. We'll just have to wait and see ultimately. The camera being switched off amidst all this speculation I find curious to say the least.

What's your problem? I have been posting a lot of evidence that shows this to be Venus. On the other hand I see very little coming out from the other side of this discussion such as support for the mass of the NEAT comet.
