That moon is so awesome

Go to "video and media", log in, then go to "personal upload" and from "choose file" select a picture from your pc and click "add photo". Then copy the url from "use as avatar" and paste it in "avatar url" in the account settings from member tools.

Here are few more celestial videos. Unfortunately, the sky was covered with thin cloud coverage, so footage is not so sharp as it could be. Today the sky is very clear and im gonna film more..

good stuff. Tonight is suppose to be a full moon. I got my telescope ready.

I don't have the ability to video or pics
( Someday.

My wife told me that when we move to our new house, I can have my own little observatory. We got the idea from a house we did look at and the old guy had a little 1 1/2 story observatory in the back yard.

That has become my dream.

Thanks for posting and enjoy ATS. You'll love it here.

Thanks for the great feedback and have a nice space-night out there!

Yeah, that observatory sounds like a great plan. I know that even slight light could ruin good observations. We have lots of "light pollution" here, even if i dont live in a big city. One good method is to cover the telescope with some blanket and snug into there. Its amazing how much difference that does.. complete dark.

Welcome back koperniguz

When I was a child I had a pretty good telescope. On a clear night with a full moon I would spend Hours looking at it. You know...

Maybe I'll invest in a telescope. I miss those carefree years.

Thanks for the vids they have brought back some great memories.

Telescope is 10cm reflector. Camera is Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5. I have four different eyepieces in use.

The clouds came and ruined my nightly observations. Better luck next time!

Second line.

I installed Sony Vegas 9.0 and started to manipulate some of my moon footages. Here is a try to zoom + sharpen : www.youtube.com...

I know its quite bad quality, but hey.. im just learning these video tricks.
