Prozac can help in the battle with cancer?

Yes you read the title correct!!!! Really.
I just cant understand what we will become if this ends up the case, a nation of zombies?
Could it be a possibility?
But on the other hand surely if this was the case why not drink more water?

Sadly, I have taken care of too many cancer victims. The depression that engulfs them is not just overwhelming for the patient, but for the family as well. Most of these patients that accepted SSRI's (Selective Serotonin reuptake inhibitors ) reported feeling less depressed, with an improved emotional state of well being. IMHO, they are well worth it.

Why would a nation of people be taking Prozac, and what does drinking more water have to do with it?
