A British family is at the centre of am astonishing legal case in America after telling a luxury hotel they did not want to be served by a black waiter.
Their apparent racist request was entered into the computer of a five star Ritz-Carlton hotel on checking in and a black waiter was later stopped from serving them.
Haitian born Wadner Tranchant claims he was turned away from serving the family during their recent stay at the hotel in Naples, Florida, to avoid upsetting them.

Pathetic.
The U.S. population is regularly accused of containing a fair few racists. Having visited several times, i think this is true to some extent.
But let us not forget you can find a racist anywhere. These British wankers also represent a growing minority in my country.
Hopefully as they were staying in the 5 Star Ritz they were just rich bastards and not a representation of the majority of the British people.
Apparently the staff or staff member logged the request on the computer system. Adding to this, 9 members of staff were aware of this request from the Morgan family.

According to the suit, the incident with Brit Rodney Morgan and his family was not the first of its kind, as "Other employees ... encountered similar treatment on multiple occasions".
The family allegedly told staff at a five-star Ritz-Carlton in Florida they did not wish to be served by "people of colour" or anyone with "foreign accents".

I guess growing up in Brighton has shielded me to a degree from such behaviour, or thinking that such behaviour was still endemic..
