So I just stumbled on this page earlier today and I thought its right up your alley ATSers!

The website its self is just amazing for photoshopers, digital photo manipulators and just anyone who likes digital art.

Well as I was looking at some new contests that I thought I would enter I found 4 previous contests that deal with Aliens in classic paintings.

They did a really good job so I hope you enjoy it. Remember there are multiple pages for each link.

This is hysterical! I don't mean that in a bad way.

It's totally possible that things like this exist on other planets in cultures that are in different time periods. Why not? The universe is HUGE!

S&f

Edit to add: this one is awesome:

Hi chrisrand, great paintings.
,what do you think of this one?

It is three hundred years older than the ones you posted, because it was painted in 1710 by Aert De Gelder.

But they look in a way quite similar don’t you think?

This image is by flemish artist Aert De Gelder and is entitled "The Baptism of Christ" It was painted in 1710 and hangs in the Fitzwilliam Musuem, Cambridge.

The de Gelder painting is very interesting. I have never seen that before.

It makes you wonder what influenced his decision to include a space craft.

Here's another...

I hope this works, I'm a newbie at adding links and such.
