How did three people survive this? The wreckage of a Russian cargo plane torn in two after bursting into flames mid-air.

Made this thread due to not being able to find alt threads already here.
The photos do not make sense if you look at them, its more like a "spot the difference" that you find in puzzle books.
Look at the photos in the link, how many can you find?

The turbines look unusual in the sense of how they are almost planted into the ground without any of the rotars breaking off, also without any sort of trail that would occur should they hit the ground and sink into it with the force of the impact. Also they seem relatively intact for an explosion, the other turbine however has its visible rotars bent at an obtuse angle close to a right angle, could this possibly be an engine failure of the two intact turbines?, due to the fact no spin was produced which would of caused a similar bend.

I read something yesterday (not on ATS, some quote from Philippine media), that witnesses saw three of the crew parachuting out of the burning plane right before it crashed. I'll see if I can find a link...

edit to add:

I found it. It's one of the comments from this article

Strangely, according to two Philippine news websites (each of which are using much the same text), "...three surviving men, who were later confirmed to be Russians, were seen parachuting out of the burning plane."

The props are feathered and the gap in the wings between the flaps indicates the flaps were down!??? Additionally, it appears that the elevators and ailerons are down!???
And coupled with the comment," witnesses saw three parachutes from the surviving crew!???
A total of 6 crew members on a cargo flight??
What is Putyin up to now? I wonder if any of the lost 3 were connected to the Polish President airplane crash?
S&F!

Indeed, even parachuting out is lucky, but the most amazing I still find is the one survivor of the Air France crash

That one still gives me the chills, imagine being the only survivor of such a disaster, it would give me Final Destination paranoia.

I cant embed the pictures would be gratful if someone could

No-one noticed the differences in where the wing apears to be snapped? or the scorching on the ground?
Also notice the tail position in the first pic and then the second, one has trees behind, the other doesnt, the lists endless

[edit on 22-4-2010 by jazz10]

The desperate pilots attempted an emergency landing that ended up tearing the plane into pieces after it exploded on impact.?
That would explain why the (right)wing is lying perfect as if it were still attached, NOT!!!
There are no tell tale signs that there was a crash landing, no skidding in grass behind plane? Unless literally dropped out of the sky

Thanks very much

That makes it even easier to see the differences that are there. How did the wheels land where they did? given the position on the rest of the aircraft?
What would be ideal here would be a birds eye view because to me, personally it just looks like the aircraft was placed, then torched? Agree?

It looks to be that only one engine of the four was operational when the plane hit the ground...the one that was on fire and is black, notice the propellor blades.

Yeah, there isnt even a trail from the rear of the aircraft. Wouldn't there be a larger debris field, it seems confined. I agree that an aerial picture would be ideal. If we compare to other pictures of air craft debris, this dosent follow the usual pattern. I will upload pictures later for analysis.

I was about to say that too, this is just a joke. The other props would have at least dug in as the props spun but judging by the photos they were literally embedded but the blades only twisted on one engine, therefore like you say there could have only been 1 working. Also it must have literally dropped vertical with no forward motion at all. This has to be definatly staged, what do you all think?
Theres that many to list its ridiculous.
Another thing who are the people in the orange and others in blue and why some masked and others not?

I had noticed the lack of propeller damage in the photos. With only 1 engine going how slow was this plane going when it crashed? Could the rice paddy be spongy enough to make it difficult to see impact marks?
