These are the 14 charged in the indictment:

Daniel Marino, Thomas Orefice, Onofrio Modica, Dominick Difiore, Anthony Manzella, Michael Scotto, Michael Scarpaci, Thomas Scarpaci, David Eisler, Salvatore Borgia, Steve Maiurro, Keith Dellitalia, Suzanne Porcelli and Anthony Vecchione.

It mentions the arrest of 12 and named one at large, Steve Maiurro, that makes 13.. who's the 14th? -(in the 3rd linked article, it says 13 arrested, so it all adds up now)

According to the 2nd linked article, an informer recorded over 200hrs of conversations with the crime family.

It's a long list of charges, how many stick?

14 less scum bags roaming the streets, with the amount of charges i suspect they'll be behind bars for a long time. All those who have lived in fear of them will now have a lot of weight taken from their shoulders.

haha using capital letters is hilarious.

I didn't claim they wont have to watch their backs anymore but having these 14 men behind bars is a step in the right direction for their victims to start living normal lives again.

I have just this minute been scanning the news and it looks like there is a big crack down on the mafia at the moment. I am thinking that there are new powers coing in to play and whoever is in charge has decided 'out with the old, and in with the new'

Watch this space........
