cant tell me this was a airplain

this was a UFO and not a airplain becouse the airport is closed by the vulcano in iceland, it was flying quit low. light on the side, dident se it for long. :|

Did it have the flight characteristics of conventional aircraft?

Was the light flashing?

About how fast can you guess it was going?

Did it make noise?

There were still small light aircraft allowed to fly.

Could have been a single engined plane or similar, or even a helicopter.

Lot's of 'people' smugglers use light aircraft, to bring in illegals, could have been one of those, or a private small plane.

This is without a doubt the worst UFO story I have ever heard.

I saw a little man the other day and you can't tell me it wasn't a freakin elf from the planet Zoorback.

I am going with emergency services for this one.

Following the latest update from the MET Office Statement, we have just issued a statement to alert our airline customers that from midday today until at least 6pm, there will be no flights permitted in UK controlled airspace other than emergency situations.

What you described sounds like a conventional aircraft, and emergency services use conventional aircraft.

How can you be sure it was an airplane?
Im assuming you did not witness it yourself.

Im sure the OP is familar with airplanes, although he may have assumed it was something else because of all the grounded airplanes, when it fact it was an airplane/helicopter etc, that was allowed to fly or done so illegally.
