For the last several months, Fox host Glenn Beck has been promoting what he calls "the Plan," described as a hundred-year scheme for the "Refounding" of America.

But as MSNBC's Keith Olbermann pointed out on Tuesday, there is more -- or perhaps less -- to "the Plan" that meets the eye.

Beck recently told his audience about a conversation he had with his co-host, Pat Gray. "I said, 'I can feel it coming," Beck began. "It's darkness, and I can just feel it coming.' And I al-- I started to say -- I said, 'The problem is, is that--' and I stopped, because I don't want to utter something like this without really thinking it through. But I was about to say, 'the problem is, is that God is giving a plan, I think, to me that is not really a plan.'"

"Okay, so the plan isn't really a plan," Olbermann remarked after showing this clip. "Does it at least tell us where to go and who to follow?'

"The plan that He would have me articulate, I think, to you," Beck continued, "is get behind Me -- and I don't mean 'me,' I mean Him. Get behind Me. Stand behind Me."

I love politics in America. Bread and circus for the plebeians. I wonder if GOD really did speak to Mr. Beck. After all he is a Mormon and God spoke to J. Smith.

You are going to highlight what Keith Olbermann had to say about it, you found a very useful toon there. I would re-emphasize toon.

Yep, Joesph Smith and Mormons are the only ones able to speak to God. Do you know how Glenn Beck knows how to pull in the Conservative ratings.

I knew Keith Olbermann was crazy, but not that crazy. Oh well, I guess that's what you have to do to get ratings.

Here is the explanation for Olbermann's tirades:

Keith Olbermann is bombastic but offers little sustenance to a nation confused with bankster tricks on Wallstreet and political chicanery in the halls of Congress.

Glenn Beck enjoins American's to learn the history of the founding of their nation and urges them to return their roots. I think Beck is doing good work.

Wow, what a brilliant and completely context free snipjob video you found there.

did you know I can soundbite the bible to make it sound like God is ordering israel to rape children and kill jesus, or could snip even more and make it speak about how the bible is a lie.

just dont ask to see the snips in a greater context.

"Sorry Mr. Beck. Jesus preached Social Justice".

How creepy is this guy! I can't believe people will "follow him" under the impression that he is talkin' to God.

Just because Fox has more viewers the MSNBC doesn't mean that they are better. For one thing Ted Turner is a conservative and won't even have MSNBC on his cable network, Comcast. You think that might eat into MSNBC's viewer numbers?

That still doesn't address, nor compare to, Glenn Beck's needing some professional help. I hope God tells him to martyr himself for his lost causes.

Ruh Roh. Last time I heard a neocon discuss God's Plan it was about sending our troops to war.

Run Toto Run.

The problem is that Beck is just using that to assert himself as a talking head to a conservative patriot movement by claiming to be a libertarain when infact he's a run of the mill neo con. That simply starts shouting "THE FOUNDING FATHERS" "COMMUNIST SOCIALIST" to every political argument.

I think he's grossly misleading people, on purpose. But then again isn't that all politics is about?

If someone posts a rational, political, conservative slanted conspiracy theory on ATS, it almost always seems to end up on GB show within the next month. Star.

And if GB exposes the vast Left/Liberal/Progressives/Communist agenda, it somehow magically gets taken out of public view or denied.

Lets take for example, hmm where to start so many to chose from: Van Jones, Jeremiah Wright, Michelle Obama's Kenyan born remark, SEIU Andy Stern (now he is quitting), appointed CZARS, oh wait we can't forget about ACCORN and about their vast network of organizations funneling money from illegal donors.

Ah such sheeple, More exposure coming to a T.V. near you.

I think us people are all pawns for foxnews and msnbc. I do not think cnn though.

Ats is a think tank for these people to show off, though they stole it from us and many others.

I've been watchin Glenn Beck for over a year now sorta regularly, as much as i can stomach. I don't agree with much of his outlook, and i think his rationality has been in decline. He says humbling things, while his body language says differently. His rheteric has been the same for months now, in my opinion. And he almost weekly talks about the talk he had with his children and family before he took on his great crusade. Sometimes i wonder about him. And then i decide to leave that up to the proffesionals. Trying to quantify Glenn Beck is even above Glenn Beck's pay grade, let alone mine.

Good luck Glenn Beck. Hope you know when to jump off the tracks.

glen beck = puke me a river

He thinks he's god's chosen one. What he is is a sadistic manipulator of the masses. He's also bordering on the psychotic with the "god told me" gibberish.

You shouldnt believe that people will follow him because they think he is talking to God. People will follow him because he is advocating what they want to do already. The fact that he is attributing it to God is really of little consequence.

Who follows Jesus' advice to turn the other cheek, love thy enemy, hold no judgments, etc. etc. etc.? Simply having a claim to divine inspiration is not the necessary condition to making people perform certain actions. People already wanting to perform those actions is the best way to get them to perform them.

The best way to seem to be a "Prophet of God" is to discern what the majority of people believe, and what they want, then to go before them and tell them God has come to you and said "_______________." (Fill in the blank with what they already believe and what they already want.) You will be hailed as a Messiah.

If on the other hand, you come bearing a message that doesnt suit the masses, you are likely to be..............oh..........crucified, or something to that effect.

WOW, Glen Beck having a King relative on and the always venerable Ted Nugent must have really PISSED OFF the liberals.

Glenn Beck even had Al Sharpton on a few days back.

Who was the last Conservative that Olbermann had on his show?

Your ship is sinking and no matter HOW MUCH BAILING you do, you will not stop the destruction of the tyrannical totalitarian state you people wish to promote.

Time will tell if a totalitarian state emerges or if a true Constitutional Republic emerges. My bet is on the CR.

Yea, MSNBC is ran on Comcast.

In Philadelphia area 1 it is on channel 76.

Now before you say that it doesn't count because it is in the second tier and not everyone buys that so it still puts them at a disadvantage.

I also looked up FNC. Didn't take me long because they are two spots below them on channel 78.

No more sorry excuses from you about Comcast and MSNBC.

Oh and here is the link to the channel list, if you want to give it a look.

On topic.

Beck and Olberman are both out of their heads. Olberman is bitter about getting his butt whipped every night by O Reilly and Beck...............dude is just crazy.

I don't watch either one.
