People profit over anything, if that is a reason to debunk stuff you should start with the education system and every book ever written.

With that reasoning the WWII never happened and no Jews were killed during it just because Hollywood made millions in profit by doing films about WWII.

That reasoning would also make anything that you see in the news a lie since TV stations actually make money over those news and the list would go on forever.

I think it's more to due with the fact that the evidence is poorly constructed and fails to prove anything.

Yep just put me into the idiots category along with the 99% of LEGIT astronomers, astrobiologist, and scholars who dont believe in Nibiru.

Even that David Morrison idiot at Nasa

I hope he burns in hell for the big cover up!

Agreed, there is no evidence for anything. The only evidence for Nibiru as a planet would be it becoming visible for anyone to see. All we have now are theories and beliefs. And trying to prove a theory wrong by using other theories and incomplete data is simply a waste o time.

But I must say that dismissing everything as bunk just because some retarded wrote some non-sense and used that as part of his/her fantasy is plain pretentious ignorance.

You've pretty much defined your self when you said the word "believe". Glad to know that we both agree on that, because "believe" is all that those 99% of LEGIT astronomers. astrologist and scholars do.

They choose to believe or not on something based on what makes sense to them and fits their belief system with the data they have at hand. Since they don't know everything, things end up becoming merely a best guess and most often than not a theory just like any other.

As I said I don't buy into Stichin nor I'm defending Nibiru, my beliefs don't matter in a discussion like this. But this whole thread is simply a collective waste of time and energy.

The point is; in the very same way that there is no evidence to prove Nibiru existence there is no evidence to prove the opposite. And that is exactly why they're are called THEORIES.

i also don't think nibiru has to do with 'end times'

i do think its real though, and that it could accelerate with its unusual orbit. while 2012 might be [or seem] a little soon, we don't have too much data on how atypical orbital patterns can be or do.

You think whats real? Nibiru is not a planet outside of Pluto. So how can you think its real, based on what?

I could tell you their is a planet 100 light years from here made of marshmellow. You of course couldnt prove me wrong. But common sense with all we know of the universe would dictate i am.

I like your thinking. Now NASA is baffled on some planets spinning backwards. It is funny they think they know everything but then it comes back to haunt them when something new pops up.

Why would then ancient sumerians write down a another planet named Nibiru? Then describe on tablets how the earth is formed as well as the solar system. I just love ignorant folk.

Exactly! But common sense is nothing more than a belief system shared by a majority under a certain context/culture, it doesn't mean it's right or wrong under a different context. So if the context changes the common sense also does. It's a pretty relative thing.

If you said that same thing for a 5 year old on the other hand he would probably believe that planets could be made of marshmallow until his experiences change and that is no longer valid for him. In the end it's all relative to what you believe based on your own experiences and indoctrination.

Of course that this is post is over simplifying the subject but I hope you can understand and get my point.

I had stronger wording...but I edited them out. I love how there are some who take great pleasure and go to great lengths in attempting to prove others wrong. The closed minded are so boring.

Ok, for anyone who doesn't notice right away... Go take a look at the flag of Israel (outlined in BLUE).

As for the possible depiction of planets, I count 13, possibly only 12... the "13th" resides in the vicinity of the seated giant's staff just below the other further out 'planet'.

I say "giant", because he is clearly SEATED and is at eye level (which i have marked in black) to the others whom are clearly STANDING. I attempted to use MS paint to straight him and display the significance however my skills/paint isn't quite up to par. (anyone who is feel free!)

Circled in green is to me a mystery, perhaps to others obvious - note the one fellow is holding the arm and seemingly 'bringing' him to the seated party. Speculate why at will, although relatively immaterial.

Circled with multicolor was something i sorted stumbled on when viewing with a 'zoom'. I realize... and am the first to realize... it may seem a little like I am milking this tablet, and 'seeing what i want to see'... that is not the case, and i am not that type of person with that sort of psyche. I simply circled it because i thought it looked an awful lot like the hammer and scythe of the former U.S.S.R (soviet socialist republic) now slightly fragmented Russia. You be the judge (i myself claim nothing here, ultimate speculation... but it DOES look like it to me!) *i could also easily draw conclusions as to why/how given the geography/history of the areas.

Hope you enjoy... I'm not looking to boost my ego, so don't bother trying to 'insult' me , I like others only wish to share information... as i said before I claim nothing, these are my perceptions and observations and i VALUE any information to lead me to further or (a completely different) version (more accurate) of the truth.

that is not the flag of isreal, truly it does resemble it but it could just as easily be the sun, or some stars or a spaceship,
the star of david is not a difficult patern for someone to come up with without any prior knowledge to the jews

the ussr symbol can just as easily be the guys staff put behind his back the green thing looks like a torch

im not getting any feelings of impending doom from looking at this picture
its probably a depiction of some ancient transaction between a lord and his subjects, or part of some old forgotten story

interesting thoughts you have on this though

You know it's funny that in this video, which has a post date of late 2009, at 3:36 it says...and I quote..."Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets is an internet hoax". Yet, in a previous post, I posted a link dated March 11th, 2010, PROVING that we have discovered a "wayward planet" right here in our solar system. I know you saw the link, you confirmed it with me. In the same post, I also included links to more PROOF of planets being discovered in the past month having extremely eliptic orbits around their star, and a link to what the true experts are saying may be proof of a true binary solar system being found. A discovery that supports the hypothesis that our system is also a binary one.

Seems to me, whatever "expert" put that video together was lacking some current knowledge. I wonder how his humble pie tastes..?

This is why all this arguing, and posturing that we are involved in here is absolutely meaningless.

IF the people who say it's all a hoax are right...so what? We all go on living our lives hating each other, resenting each other like we have been..? I certainly hope you have more to live for than just to get off by pissing on other people's parades.

IF the people who believe that the ancients knew something that modern man has forgotten...that something cataclysmic is coming...something Earth-changing...are correct...then what? Do we posture some more? Or do we live our lives the way we should be in the fleeting time that humanity may have?

I truly believe that our ancestors were more in touch with the way things really are than we are today. We are such a "diconnected" people. I think about how my great grandparents homesteaded in a little river valley on the Oregon coast. How they knew every bit of the land they depended on. They knew the exact day to plant the crops to minimize loss and maximize sunlight, and where the best places to find game and to fish were.

Where'd you get your dinner tonight..? KFC..? McD's..?

Have we gotten more intelligent from our "modernization"..? Or have we just become more distant from the truth..?

I find all this pretentiousness in science amusing to say the least. They will keep finding these hot potatoes until the end of times.

I have to agree. Humans nowadays have become incredibly materialistic, attached to pre-conceived ideas, ideals, standards, status and to a establishment. With that we are becoming more and more detached from other aspects of our reality that could change our perception of things.

I'm not into new age stuff but I have to agree humanity in general is off balance.

Anyways...

Every other civilization gave the planets and stars they observed names, as we do today. Why would the Sumerians not give names to what they saw?

You take their description of how the Earth was formed as fact? That a dragon was killed, split in half and became the heavens and the Earth? If you take that as fact... then...

Yes, I love ignorant folk too.

Even Michio Kaku has stated that Science is always being rewritten. He said that after some scientists at Duke University discovered Invisibility.
