Articles of Freedom - State Capitals Storybook

As most of you know, today April 19, 2010 was a day
that was supposed to see masses of people at each
state capital building to serve the Articles of Freedom
to their representatives.

Due to MSM blackout of these events in real time, I am
asking that each member of ATS that went to their states'
rallies please post your stories and/or pics of the events
on this thread so that some can see if there was an actual
concerted effort being made with this movement or if it
was a hoax or a failure or a success. Please state an approximate
number of attendees and what gov officials showed up
for this event.

Also, so we can keep all this info concentrated, I ask that you
post any web links or site blogs that contain related info
all in one central thread. Thanks for your help and assistance.

Tell us or show us YOUR Articles of Freedom story

Sorry but I did not get to go due to my
disability and lack of funds. But I am curious
as to how the events went for others.

Hello,
This happened today in VA.

As for what went down in my town; I have no excuse as to why I didn't attend. The only explanation is that I forgot all about it being the 19th today.

Advocates carry handguns, rifles at Va. rally

Daniel Almond, who organized the "Restore the Constitution" rally in Virginia, said he wanted to convene in a place where "we can exercise our rights." He pointed in the direction of Washington and said, "Over there, the Constitution is being violated in that we cannot bear arms."

Oops!
I'm recently retired and so my first plan was to forget about any kind of calendar. Plus, I stayed up late last-night getting my root-beer game on! And tax time, oh, way early. Just waiting for the check!

As per this thread...www.abovetopsecret.com...

I went to the state house as a producer with a news crew from our local cable access channel. We didn't see anyone but we only stayed until 1:00 pm. We had hoped to document this event and get some interviews, nada.

We did meet a nice delegation of Japanese people there to facilitate trade and educational exchanges.

New Mexico....

I'm not saying nobody showed up. I'm saying we didn't see any Articles of Freedom people when we were there. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
