ARLINGTON, Va. – Carrying loaded pistols and unloaded rifles, dozens of gun-rights activists got as close as they could Monday to the nation's capital while still bearing arms and delivered what they said was a simple message: Don't tread on me.
Hundreds of like-minded but unarmed counterparts carried out a separate rally in the nation's capital.

Good to see people still caring about issues that matter. Though I do wonder what people said when they saw them walking down the street......

Now, I'd identify myself easily as left of center, but I don't understand these people that want to control & put laws on guns......why? It just these control freaks think their views on guns are infallible, when they've probably never even held one in their hands in their life.....

For the life of me, I can't understand how someone would be afraid of a gun. Not the person wielding it, but a gun.

For the few that were in DC, there are Millions that wait for the Line in the sand to be crossed.

Protest mean nothing, Petitions are thrown in the trash, and Demand for Redress has never happen. So why are we wasting our time.

Was 1776 a fluke of history?

Are we as a nation prepared to Cast off Tyranny once again?

Will we follow Russia and Gremany's decent into Tyranny?

I see alot of simularities here in the USSA ( United Socialist States of America )

I hate guns. I hate criminals who carry guns, I hate non-criminals who carry guns. It is your right though so there is nothing I can do about it. But it doesnt make me feel safer at all.

I will however stand up for background checks on gun owners. I do think they need to be regulated, if you've committed a violent act or you suffer from schizophrenia then you should not be able to carry a gun around or own one for that matter.

It is not the duty of the police to protect you. Their job is to protect the Corporation and arrest code breakers. Sapp v. Tallahasee, 348 So. 2nd. 363, Reiff v. City of Philadelphia, 477 F.Supp. 1262, Lynch v. N.C. Dept of Justice 376 S.E. 2nd. 247.

So since you don't like Guns you will make an easy victim.

I on the other hand am ready and armed at all times and trained to defend myself, my family, my property, and my neighbors should the need arise.

You have a right not to defend yourself. But remember if someone is trying to hurt you or anyone else you will lack the tools to render aid.

I am sure you can ask the offending person to hold on while you dial 911 ....
