I think the way you make the thread is the most important thing, after all,
that's what people read to know what you're talking about.
Creating a thread with a title like "Building on Mars" will probably get more bad answers than a thread titled "strange feature on Mars" but less
bad answers than one titled "OMG!!! SMOKING GUN!!! ALIEN BASE ON MARS!!!".
If you present the data you found stating that you cannot be sure of what it is (it's obvious, but some people do not post that because they are
really convinced that what they see it's the only possible explanation) you will see that even without credibility at first, you will start getting
that credibility of someone that presents his data without prejudice.
That's why it's easy to lose patience, are we really gonna uncover the truth here, or just have to wait for someone to reveal it
publicy?
We cannot know, maybe you will uncover the truth tomorrow, maybe nobody will uncover it, never, but the best we can do is keep on
trying and keep on learning.
Sorry as you can see, i am fustrated. I am not trying to have a sook, just fustrated.
I understand your problem, it's easy to get
frustrated in a situation like that, but I think that now you are in the right place, you just have to try to be more neutral.
Also, your ability to see what's on the photos is good, as you can see by looking at one of the images you posted, this one:
and compare it this one, the one from HiRISE, that I "squashed" a little to make it look more like the MOC photo and I also changed the brightness,
to make it look even more like the other.
Looking at both images you can see that what we see on the higher resolution photo is also on the MOC photo, it's only a matter of learning how to
interpret what type of data a lower resolution photo looses.
Sometimes, just looking at photos may be enough.
