For the first time, Russia will abandon its base at Vostok in Antarctica because of a lack of fuel and supplies for the coming winter.
Vostok, the most isolated manned research outpost on Earth, was established in 1957. The base sits atop a giant ice-covered lake first identified in the 1970s.

Isnt it ironic that there is a liquid water lake at the coldest spot on earth? Its barely below freezing here right now, but you could go ice skating on my pool.

This is our retreat! This is our shelter for the NWO guys.

Get ready, when it starts, grab your suitcase and hit the road.

Head for the meet up point - easter island. When we all accounted, relocate to the Vostok station and plan further retaliation tactics.

(Don't forget to pack some fur boots)

By the way, you do know that no radiation fall out can reach south/north poles?

It makes for a perfect shelter.

Actually, they've already found some pretty weird life-forms there... I seem to remember a story about these little worm-like creatures that had shiny red heads, and could bore through the ice using heat (the head had numerous blood vessels, that were intensely heated)... They had razor sharp teeth and would eat Penguins! (by ganging up, much like Pirahna...)

(Kidding, that was an April Fool's joke in Discover Magazine I believe) Though, they have found some intriquing microscopics there...
